hadith 1433
8. It is in the advice to al-Mufaddal who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘One who has doubt or Zann (better than doubt and less than certainty) and lives with one of them (such conditions), Allah turns his deeds fruitless. The authority and proof for (existence of) Allah is clear authority and proof.’”
8ـ وَفِي وَصِيَّةِ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ مَنْ شَكَّ أَوْ ظَنَّ وَأَقَامَ عَلَى أَحَدِهِمَا أَحْبَطَ الله عَمَلَهُ إِنَّ حُجَّةَ الله هِيَ الْحُجَّةُ الْوَاضِحَةُ.

16. Yunus ibn Ribat reported: I heard Abu 'Abd Allah (a.s) saying: Verily, the people of truth have always had to endure difficulties. However, that is for a short period and everlasting well-being.

Hadith.179 - Ubaydullah ibn Ali Al-Halabi said: ‘Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) was asked whether it is appropriate for a man to sleep while in a state of janabah (ritual impurity from sexual discharge).’ Imam (as) replied: 'It is disliked (makruh) to do so without first performing wudu (ablution).'
179 - وَقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ اَلْحَلَبِيُّ
سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ أَ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَ هُوَ جُنُبٌ فَقَالَ «يُكْرَهُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ.

Hadith.498 - In a narration of Sama’a ibn Mehran from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as): "A menstruating woman who is present at a funeral should perform tayammum (dry ablution) and pray for the deceased, standing apart and separate from the row."
498 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ سَمَاعَةَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
«فِي اَلطَّامِثِ إِذَا حَضَرَتِ اَلْجِنَازَةَ تَتَيَمَّمُ وَ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا وَ تَقُومُ وَحْدَهَا بَارِزَةً مِنَ اَلصَّفِّ.»

Hadith.815 - Sama’a ibn Mehran asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about wearing a sword during prayer that has glue or leather (adhesive substances, such as glue made from animal parts) on it. Imam (as) replied: "There is no problem as long as you do not know that it is from a dead (non-slaughtered) animal”.
815 - وَ سَأَلَ سَمَاعَةُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنْ تَقْلِيدِ اَلسَّيْفِ فِي اَلصَّلاَةِ فِيهِ اَلْغِرَاءُ وَ اَلْكَيْمُخْتُ فَقَالَ
«لاَ بَأْسَ مَا لَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ مَيْتَةٌ.

Hadith.1032 - Hammad ibn Uthman asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) a person who missed part of their prayers and then remembered it at sunrise or sunset. Imam (as) replied: "He should pray as soon as he remembers”.
1032 - وَ سَأَلَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنْ رَجُلٍ فَاتَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنَ اَلصَّلَوَاتِ فَذَكَرَ عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ اَلشَّمْسِ أَوْ عِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا قَالَ
«فَلْيُصَلِّ حِينَ يَذْكُرُ.

Hadith.1297 - Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man performing supererogatory (nafilah) prayers in towns and cities while on his mount, wherever it faces. He (as) replied: "There is no harm."
1297 - وَ سَأَلَ عَبْدُ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ اَلْحَجَّاجِ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي اَلنَّوَافِلَ فِي اَلْأَمْصَارِ وَ هُوَ عَلَى دَابَّتِهِ حَيْثُمَا تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ قَالَ
«لاَ بَأْسَ.

Hadith.3626 - Ishaq ibn Ammar asked Abu Abdullah (as) about the least form of extravagance. Imam (as) replied: "Wearing your garment of dignity for ordinary tasks, spilling the excess of what is in your vessel, and carelessly throwing away date pits like this and that."
3626 - وَ سَأَلَ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : عَنْ أَدْنَى اَلْإِسْرَافِ فَقَالَ
"ثَوْبُ صَوْنِكَ تَبْتَذِلُهُ وَ فَضْلُ اَلْإِنَاءِ تُهَرِيقُهُ وَ قَذْفُكَ اَلنَّوَى هَكَذَا وَ هَكَذَا".

“Abū ʿAbdillāh (a) said, ‘Do not say [there is but] a single garden [of Paradise]. Verily Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: [There are] levels, some above others.’”

13. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that if it becomes difficult for one of you, you should inform your brother (in belief) while you are unable to help yourself.”
13ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا ضَاقَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُعْلِمْ أَخَاهُ وَلا يُعِينُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ.

16. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Samman al-Armaniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that when a fasting person observes people or a person eating food, every piece of his hair feels a kind of covering (tranquility).”
16ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ السَّمَّانِ الأَرْمَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا رَأَى الصَّائِمُ قَوْماً يَأْكُلُونَ أَوْ رَجُلاً يَأْكُلُ سَجَّتْ كُلُّ شَعْرَةٍ مِنْهُ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A man fasting can stay in water but cannot immerse his head in it.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
الصَّائِمُ يَسْتَنْقِعُ فِي الْمَاءِ وَلا يَرْتَمِسُ رَأْسُهُ.

الشَّيْخُ لَا يَدَعُ الْعَشَاءَ وَ لَوْ بِلُقْمَةٍ .

6. Ali has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from al-Halabiy who has said the following

لا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ تُلَبِّيَ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى غَيْرِ طُهْرٍ وَعَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ.

17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, prohibited playing with chess and dice.’”

قَالَ يَتَيَمَّمُ الْمَجْدُورُ وَالْكَسِيرُ بِالتُّرَابِ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُ الْجَنَابَةُ.

28. Ali has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayar from Hammad from al-Halabi who has said the following.
“I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the corral and diving for pearls. The Imam (a.s.) said, “There is al-Khums due on them.”
28ـ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الْعَنْبَرِ وَغَوْصِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ فَقَالَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَلَيْهِ الْخُمُسُ.
