Fatima (sa) did not see blood during menstruation nor in delivery.

On the Throne, it is written: “I am Allah. There is no god but Me. I am Alone without any partners. Muhammad is My Servant and My Messenger, and I have aided him with `Ali.” So, Allah revealed, “It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers.” (8:62) The “help” is `Ali (as), who [also] entered among the believers; so, he (as) is on both sides together.

“O son of `Abbas! You give verdicts on ants and lice, so will you not describe to us the God that you serve,” So Ibn `Abbas bowed down his head in silence to exalt Allah, the Mighty and High. Al-Husayn ibn `Ali (AS) was sitting on the side, who said: “Come to me, O son of alAzraq!.” He replied: “I am not asking you.” Then Ibn `Abbas said: “O son of al-Azraq! Verily, he from the Household of Prophethood, and they (the household members) are the Heirs of (Prophetic) Knowledge.” Thus, Nafi` ibn al-Azraq turned towards al-Husayn (AS), so al-Husayn said to him: O Nafi`! Verily, he who bases his religion on analogy is still immersed in the world. He is straying away from the (right) path, transient in the deviation (from that which is right), is leading astray from the way, and is saying that which is not nice. O son of al-Azraq! I am describing my god with what He Himself has described Himself and I am presenting Him with what He presented Himself. He cannot be perceived with the senses and cannot be compared with the people. He is near but not attached. He is far, but not cut off. He is United, but not divided into parts. He is known by signs and attributed by symbols. There is not god but He, the Great, the Most High.

Fatima begot al-Hasan (as) and said to `Ali (as): Name him. He said: I do not want to precede the Messenger of Allah in naming him. Then, the Messenger of Allah (s) came and he was brought to him in a yellow rag. He said: Had I not forbidden you from bundling him in yellow (cloth)? Then he cast it aside and took a white rag and wrapped him in it. Then he said to `Ali (as): Have you named him? He said: I did not wish to precede you in naming him. So, he (s) said: And I do not wish to precede my Lord in naming him. So, Allah revealed to Jibra’il that a son had been born to Muhammad. Descend and convey the salaam to him and congratulate him. And say to him: Surely, `Ali is to you in the position of Harun to Musa; so mark him with the name of the son of Harun. So Jibra’il (as) descended and congratulated him from Allah. Then he said: Allah commands you to call him by the name of the son of Harun. He said: And what was his name? He said: Shabar. He said: My tongue is Arabic. He said: Name him al-Hasan. So, he named him al-Hasan. When Husayn (as) was born, Allah revealed to Jibra’il that a son had been born to Muhammad. So, descend towards him and congratulate him, and say to him: Surely, `Ali is to you in the position of Harun to Musa; so mark him with the name of the son of Harun. He said: So Jibra’il descended and congratulated him from Allah. Then he said: Surely, `Ali is to you in the position of Harun to Musa; so mark him with the name of the son of Harun. He said: And what was his name? He said: Shubayr. He said: My tongue is Arabic. He said: Name him al-Husayn. So, he named him al Husayn.

When Fatima, peace be upon her, was pregnant with Hasan and gave birth, and the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, had ordered them to wrap him in a white cloth, they wrapped him in a yellow one, and Fatima, peace be upon her, said: O Ali, name him. He said: I am not to to precede in naming him than the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family. Then the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, came, took him, kissed him and entered his tongue into his mouth, and Hasan, peace be upon him, began to suck on it. Then the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said to them: Did I not tell you in advance that you should wrap him in a white cloth? Then he requested a white cloth and wrapped him in it and threw the yellow one, recited the Adhan into his right ear, recited the Iqamah into his left, and then he said to Ali, peace be upon him: What did you name him? Then he said: I am not to precede you with regards to his name. Then the Messenger of Allah, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, said: I am not to precede my Lord in naming him. Then Allah, Glorified be His remembrance, revealed to Jibra’eel, peace be upon him: It has been begotten to Muhammed a son, so descend to him and recite to him peace from Me, and congratulate him on behalf of Me and yourself, and say to him: Indeed, Ali is to you in the same position as Harun to Musa, so name him by the name of Harun’s son. Then Jibra’eel came to the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, and congratulated him and said to him like how Allah, Exalted is He, ordered him with regards to naming his son by the name of Harun’s son. He said: And what was his name? He said: Shabar. He said: My tongue is Arabic. He said: Name him Hasan. So he named him Hasan. Then, when she gave birth to Hussain, peace be upon him, the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, came to them and did with him as he did with Hasan, peace be upon him, and Jibra’eel descended unto the Prophet, Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Family, and said: Indeed, Allah, Exalted and Glorious be His remembrance, recites to you peace and says to you: Indeed, Ali is to you in the same position as Harun to Musa, so name him by the name of Harun’s son. He said: What was his name? He said: Shubayr. He said: My tongue is Arabic. He said: Name him Hussain. So he named him Hussain.

"Whoever dies on Thursday after the sun has passed its zenith until the time of the sun's zenith on Friday, and was a believer, Allah (swt), the Majestic, will protect him from the squeezing of the grave and accept his intercession for people as numerous as the tribes of Rabiah and Mudar. Whoever dies on Saturday from among the believers, Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic, will never gather him with the Jews in the Fire. Whoever dies on Sunday from among the believers, Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic, will never gather him with the Christians in the Fire. Whoever dies on Monday from among the believers, Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic, will never gather him with our enemies from Banu Umayyah in the Fire. Whoever dies on Tuesday from among the believers, Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic, will gather him with us in the highest companionship. Whoever dies on Wednesday from among the believers, Allah (swt), the Almighty and Majestic, will protect him from the misfortune of the Day of Judgment, bless him with His (swt) nearness, and place him in the abode of permanence by His (swt) grace, where no fatigue shall touch him, nor shall any exhaustion afflict him." Then Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "The believer, in whatever state he dies and at whatever day or hour he passes away, is a truthful martyr. And indeed, I heard my beloved, the Messenger of Allah (swt), say: 'If a believer were to leave this world carrying sins equal to those of the people of the earth, death would be an expiation for those sins.'" Then Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "Whoever says 'There is no God but Allah (swt)' with sincerity is free from polytheism, and whoever leaves this world without associating anything with Allah (swt) shall enter Paradise." Then Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) recited this verse: 'Indeed, Allah (swt) does not forgive associating partners with Him (swt), but He (swt) forgives anything less than that for whom He (swt) wills - from among your followers and those who love you, O' Ali (as)." (Surah An-Nisa 4:48) and (Surah An-Nisa 4:116) Then Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "I asked: 'O' Messenger of Allah (swt), is this for my followers?' Prophet (sw) said: "Yes, by my Lord (azj), it is for your followers (O' Ali (as)). And indeed, they shall rise on the Day of Judgment from their graves saying: 'There is no God but Allah (swt), Muhammad (sw) is the Messenger of Allah (swt), Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) is the proof of Allah (swt)'. They will be given green garments from Paradise, crowns from Paradise, and tiaras from Paradise. Each one of them will wear a green garment, and the crown of sovereignty and the wreath of honor will be placed on his head. Then they will mount noble steeds from Paradise, and these will take them flying to Paradise.' They will not be grieved by the greatest terrors, and the angels will receive them, saying: 'This is your Day which you were promised.'"

Abul Qasim Ishaq ibn Ja’far Al-Alawi quoted on the authority of Abi Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn Ali, on the authority of Soleiman ibn Muhammad al-Qurashi, on the authority of Isma’il ibn Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Ja’far ibn Muhammad (s), on the authority of his father (s), on the authority of his grandfather Ali ibn Al-Hussein (s), on the authority of Ali (s). The same tradition was narrated by Abul Hussein Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Ishaq al-Farsi al-Aza’emi who quoted on the authority of Abu Sa’eed Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Romayh an-Nasawi at Gorgan, on the authority of Abdul Aziz ibn Ishaq ibn Ja’far at Baghdad, on the authority of Abdul Wahhab ibn Isa al-Marwazi, on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Muhammad al-Balawi, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Nujayh, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ja’far ibn Muhammad (s), on the authority of his father (s), on the authority of his grandfather (s), on the authority of his father (s). The same tradition was narrated by Al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Sokkari who quoted on the authority of Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Jowhari, on the authority of Al-Abbas ibn Bakkar al-Dhabiy, on the authority of Abu Bakr al-Hothali, on the authority of Ikremah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, “When the Commander of the Faithful Ali ibn Abi Talib (s) returned from the Siffin Battle, one of the elders who had seen the events in the battle with him stood up and said, ‘O Commander of the Faithful! Let us know if our course was destined by the Sublime God and by His Power?’” Al-Ridha (s) has also narrated in another tradition on the authority of his forefathers, on the authority of Ali ibn Al-Hussein ibn Ali (s), “A man from Iraq went to the Commander of the Faithful (s) and said, ‘Let me know if our departure from Sham has been destined by the Sublime God and by His Power?’ The Commander of the Faithful (s) replied, ‘O old man! Yes. By God, you did not climb any hills and did not go down any valleys except through God’s destiny and by His Power.’ Then theold man said, ‘O Commander of the Faithful! Do my sufferings then have any rewards?’ Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (s) told him, ‘O old man! Wait a moment! It seems that you have thought that what I meant by God’s destiny was that it was a certainty. If so there would be no reward or punishment, no admonishing or advice, nor any Divine Promises. Then a sinner could not be blamed, and a good-doer will not deserve to be praised. Then a good-doer would even deserve to be blamed more than a sinner does. This is what the idol worshippers, the enemies of the Merciful God, the Qadarites and the Magi (Zoroastrians) in this nation say. O old man! The Sublime God has made the people responsible. However, the people are free to choose. He has admonished them but He has only warned them. He has granted a great reward for the very minute good deeds. One who disobeys does not defeat God. One who obeys Him is not forced to do so. God has not created the heavens and the Earth without a purpose, ‘Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth and all between! that were the thought of Unbelievers! but woe be to the Unbelievers because of the Fire (of Hell)!’ “The narrator added, “As the old man was standing up he recited the following,‘You are the Leader through whose obedience we hope to be saved by the Merciful on the Day of Saving (Resurrection). You clarified for us that part of the religion which was vague for us. May God grant you a good reward! There are no excuses for doing any wicked deeds which I do - Acts of corruption and disobedience. No! No! I never think that Him who has admonished against doing evil Himself forces one to do evil. You will be serving Satan if you ever think so. God does not like it. He does not want corruption. He has never allowed animosity with and oppressively killing God’s Friend. How could He - the Owner of Both Thrones - have done so while His tradition has itself clearly declared this.’”The author of this book (Sheikh Sadooq) said, “Muhammad ibn Umar Al-Hafiz has only included the first two couplets at the end of this tradition.”
