6. Muhammad ibn Yahya Ahmad ibn Muhammad and others have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id fn al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from al-Qasim ibn Sulayman from Jarrah al-Mada’iniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), disliked shirts with borders decorated with silk as well as garments of silk, clothes with embroideries, and cushions of red color; he called them the cushion of Satan.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى وَ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ جَرَّاحٍ الْمَدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّهُ
كَرِهَ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْقَمِيصَ الْمَكْفُوفَ بِالدِّيبَاجِ وَ يَكْرَهُ لِبَاسَ الْحَرِيرِ وَ لِبَاسَ الْقَسِّيِّ الْوَشْيِ وَ يَكْرَهُ لِبَاسَ الْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ فَإِنَّهَا مِيثَرَةُ إِبْلِيسَ .

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Safwan ibn Yahya from Sayf al- Tammar who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), that I arrived near the Black Stone and found people crowded. I did not find anyone of our people except one man. I asked him and he said that it is necessary to touch the Black Stone. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, if you find it free of the crowd; otherwise, salute it from a distant place.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ سَيْفٍ التَّمَّارِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) أَتَيْتُ الْحَجَرَ الأَسْوَدَ فَوَجَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ زِحَاماً فَلَمْ أَلْقَ إِلاَّ رَجُلاً مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ لا بُدَّ مِنِ اسْتِلامِهِ فَقَالَ إِنْ وَجَدْتَهُ خَالِياً وَإِلاَّ فَسَلِّمْ مِنْ بَعِيدٍ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa, from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from al-Qasim ibn Sulayman from Jarrah al-Mad’iniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Whoever believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment, must not eat at a table where wine exists.’”

15. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir from who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, T work in a certain site of my work to perspire, even though there are people who can do all the work instead of me but I work so Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, finds me striving to find lawful sustenance.’”
15- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from ‘Abd al-Karim ibn ‘Amr from Sa‘id al-A’raj who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous) is not for people of Sarif, Marr (names of two places) and people of Makkah; Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has said, “That is for those whose family is present in Masjid al-Haram.” (2:196)’”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
لَيْسَ لأَهْلِ سَرِفٍ وَلا لأَهْلِ مَرٍّ وَلا لأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ مُتْعَةٌ يَقُولُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ذلِكَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَهْلُهُ حاضِرِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرامِ.

9. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from those who narrated to him who has said the following
“I once asked one of the two the Imam, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, about a man who owes a loan and in his hand is an asset that is sufficient to pay the loan but it belongs to someone else. Is he required to pay Zakat? He (the Imam) said, ‘If he has borrowed and one year has passed, then its Zakat is on him if there is anything extra.’”
9ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَحَدَهُمَا (عَلَيْهِما الْسَّلام) عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ وَفِي يَدِهِ مَالٌ وَفَى بِدَيْنِهِ وَالْمَالُ لِغَيْرِهِ هَلْ عَلَيْهِ زَكَاةٌ فَقَالَ إِذَا اسْتَقْرَضَ فَحَالَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوْلُ فَزَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا كَانَ فِيهِ فَضْلٌ.

22. Abu Ali al-Ash’ari and others have narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Kufi from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sa’id ibn Yasar who has said the following
“Once, I said to Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘Your Mawla, Sulaym says that of the Holy Quran with him there is only Yasin, Chapter 36. At night he wakes up and completes reading of the Holy Quran whatever is available with him, can he repeat it reading?’ The Imam said, ‘Yes, he can do so.’”
22ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْكُوفِيِّ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) سُلَيْمٌ مَوْلاكَ ذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ إِلا سُورَةُ يس فَيَقُومُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيَنْفَدُ مَا مَعَهُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ أَ يُعِيدُ مَا قَرَأَ قَالَ نَعَمْ لا بَأْسَ.

11. Muhammad ibn al-Hassan has narrated from Sahl from Musa ibn al-Qasim from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘A man wants to wash himself clean after using toilet. How should he sit?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘He sits just as he does when defecating.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘He only needs to wash the outside and not the inside.’”
11ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَهْلٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ الرَّجُلُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسْتَنْجِيَ كَيْفَ يَقْعُدُ قَالَ كَمَا يَقْعُدُ لِلْغَائِطِ وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهُ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ بَاطِنَهُ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-ffusayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir from who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who is the most deserving to perform Salah (prayer) for a deceased woman? He (the Imam) said, ‘It is her husband.’ I then asked, ‘Is her husband more deserving or her father, son or brother? He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, her husband is more deserving.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ الْمَرْأَةُ تَمُوتُ مَنْ أَحَقُّ بِالصَّلاَةِ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ زَوْجُهَا قُلْتُ الزَّوْجُ أَحَقُّ مِنَ الأبِ وَالْوَلَدِ وَالأخِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَيُغَسِّلُهَا.

11. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from al-Husayn ibn ‘Uthman from ibn Muskan from Muhammad ibn Ja’far who has said the following
“I once said to abu al-Hassan (a.s.), that my woman had placed upon herself fasting for two months. She gave birth; then became pregnant. She is not able to fast. He (the Imam) said, ‘She is required to pay charity of one mud (certain measurement) for everyday to a destitute person.’”
11ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي جَعَلَتْ عَلَى نَفْسِهَا صَوْمَ شَهْرَيْنِ فَوَضَعَتْ وَلَدَهَا وَأَدْرَكَهَا الْحَبَلُ فَلَمْ تَقْوَ عَلَى الصَّوْمِ قَالَ فَلْتَتَصَدَّقْ مَكَانَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ بِمُدٍّ عَلَى مِسْكِينٍ.

4. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Ali ibn Mahziyar from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Ibrahim ibn abu al- Balad from a man of our people called Husayn who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Salat (prayer) can be performed in complete form in three places: ‘You should perform salat (prayer) in complete form in Masjid al-Haram (the Sacred Masjid), the Masjid of the Messenger of Allah, and in the shrine of al-Husayn (a.s.).’”
4ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي الْبِلادِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا يُقَالُ
لَهُ حُسَيْنٌ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ تَتِمُّ الصَّلاةُ فِي ثَلاثَةِ مَوَاطِنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَسْجِدِ الرَّسُولِ (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) وَعِنْدَ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ ع.

22. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-FIusayn ibn Sa‘id from ‘Abd Allah ibn Yahya from ibn Muskan from abu ‘Abd Allah, Mawla “Abd Rabbihi who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a substance that was taken from the mine in which there were gold, silver and zinc. How could we buy it? He (the Imam) said, ‘You can buy it with both gold and silver.’”
22- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الْجَوْهَرِ الَّذِي يُخْرَجُ مِنَ الْمَعْدِنِ وَفِيهِ ذَهَبٌ وَفِضَّةٌ وَصُفْرٌ جَمِيعاً كَيْفَ نَشْتَرِيهِ فَقَالَ تَشْتَرِيهِ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ جَمِيعاً.

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Al- Husayn ibn ‘Uthman from ibn Muskan from ‘Anbasah ibn Mus’ab who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who performs Salah (prayer) behind an Imam and there is no one on his left side; how he says the phrase of offering greeting of peace?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘He says the phrase of offering greeting of peace only once to his right side.’”
9ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقُومُ فِي الصَّفِّ خَلْفَ الإِمَامِ وَلَيْسَ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ أَحَدٌ كَيْفَ يُسَلِّمُ قَالَ يُسَلِّمُ وَاحِدَةً عَنْ يَمِينِهِ.

7-82 By the same documentation it is narrated that Al-Hussein ibn Sa’id quoted Al-Nazr ibn Soweed, on the authority of Hisham ibn Salim, on the authority of Al-Ahval that Aba Abdullah as-Sadiq (MGB) said, “
God’s Prophet(MGB) was questioned about fasting on two Thursdays and on the Wednesday in between them He (MGB) replied, ‘Thursdays are the days when our deeds are presented and Wednesday is the day on which Hell was created. Fasting is an armor against the Fire.’”
7-82 وبهذا الاسناد، عن الحسين بن سعيد، عن النضر بن سويد، عن هشام بن سالم، عن الاحول، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآلهسئل عن صوم خميسين بينهما أربعاء فقال
أما الخميس فيوم تعرض فيه الاعمال، وأما الاربعاء فيوم خلقت فيه النار، وأما الصوم فجنة

إن الله عز وجل احتج على الناس بما آتاهم وما عرفهم.

1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Sa’d bin Abdullah, from Ahmad bin Muhammed, from Hussain bin Sa’eed, from Fadala bin Ayub, from Aban bin Uthman, from Abu’l-Jaroud, from Hukaim bin Jubayr, from Ali bin Hussain, peace be upon them both, with regards to the saying of Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He: «And (it is) an announcement from Allah and His Messenger» (9:3). hadith 800
4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn al-Hassan from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who has died because of drowning is kept until there is a change and his death becomes certain; then his Ghusl (bath) and shroud are done.’ He (the narrator) has said that he (the Imam) was asked about one who has died because of a sudden shock. He (the Imam) said, ‘If it (death) is because of sudden shock, he is kept for two days, then his Ghusl (bath) and shroud are done.’”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
الْغَرِيقُ يُحْبَسُ حَتَّى يَتَغَيَّرَ وَيُعْلَمَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ مَاتَ ثُمَّ يُغَسَّلُ وَيُكَفَّنُ قَالَ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَصْعُوقِ فَقَالَ إِذَا صُعِقَ حُبِسَ يَوْمَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُغَسَّلُ وَيُكَفَّنُ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn Hashim ibn Sa‘id af-Mukariy from abu Basir from who has said the following
“Abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘There are five Salah (prayer) which you can perform anytime you want. Such Salah (prayer) are because of eclipse, for a deceased, for ihram, for making up a missed one, for Tawaf from dawn to sunrise and after al-‘Asr until night.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ هَاشِمٍ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمُكَارِي عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
خَمْسُ صَلَوَاتٍ تُصَلِّيهِنَّ فِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ صَلاَةُ الْكُسُوفِ وَالصَّلاَةُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ وَصَلاَةُ الإِحْرَامِ وَالصَّلاَةُ الَّتِي تَفُوتُ وَصَلاَةُ الطَّوَافِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ.
