1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad from Uthman b. Isa from Abi Basir from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“The punishment of grave is mostly due to careless attitude towards the impurity of urine.”

إِنَّ أَجَلَّ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ فِی الْقَبْرِ مِنَ الْبَوْلِ.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Hisham b. Salim from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said
“One who testifies falsely, Hell will be made obligatory for him even before action is taken on his testimony.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
شَاهِدُ الزُّورِ لَا تَزَالُ قَدَمَاهُ حَتَّی تَجِبَ لَهُ النَّارُ.

hadith 890
1. It was narrated to me by my father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Sa’d b. Abdillah who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab from Ja’far b. Abi Basheer from Hajar b. Zayida from Abi Abdillah al-Sadiq (a.s.) who said
“One who leaves a part of his body equal to the size of a hair intentionally while performing Ghusl-e-Janaabat will go to Hell.”
حَدَّثَنِی أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِی بَشِیرٍ عَنْ حُجْرِ بْنِ زَائِدَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّادِقِ ع قَالَ

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hassan b. Ali b. Fadhal from Ali b. ’Uqba from Sama’a b. Mihran from Abdillah b. Sulayman from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
“Injustice (Zulm) of this world is darkness (Zulumaat) of the hereafter.”

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates that Amirul Momineen (a.s.) said, “There is no relation of doubt and sin with us and the way of doubt and sin does not reach us in any way.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ بَکْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِیرُ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ع إِنَّ الشَّکَّ وَ الْمَعْصِیَهَ فِی النَّارِ لَیْسَ مِنَّا وَ لَا إِلَیْنَا.

Whoever deliberately leaves off a single hair from [purification after] sexual impurity, then he is in the Fire.

The narrator asked Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) who would be the first to enter Hell. He replied: Shaitaan, and to the left and the right of him will be one person each.

1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Sa’d bin Abdullah, from Ya’qoub bin Yazid, from Hammad, from Hurayz, from Zurara, that he said
Abu Ja’far, peace be upon him, said: Do not forget the two obligating things - or he said: «(Imposed) Upon you are the two obligating things» - at the end of every prayer. I said: And what are the two obligating things? He said: That you ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge in Him from the Fire.
أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن يعقوب بن يزيد، عن حماد، عن حريز، عن زرارة، قال
قال أبو جعفر عليه السلام: لا تنسوا الموجبتين - أو قال: عليكم بالموجبتين - في دبر كل صلاة. قلت: وما الموجبتان؟ قال: تسأل الله الجنة وتتعوذ به من النار.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates that Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) said, “Honor is the dress of God (suitable only for Allah) and pride is the dress of those who run to get honor and they are hung in Hell by Allah.”

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “One who asks for a thing which he does not need, will not die till he is deprived of it and Allah will throw him in Hell because of this deed.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ یَسْأَلُ مِنْ غَیْرِ حَاجَهٍ فَیَمُوتُ حَتَّی یُحْوِجَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَیْهَا وَ یُثَبِّتَ لَهُ بِهَا النَّارَ.

3. It is narrated that Amirul Momineen (a.s.) said, “
If I hadn’t heard the words of the Holy Prophet: ‘Indeed, cheating, deception and fraud lead to Hell’, I would have been the greatest fraudster of the Arabs.”

1. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Sa’d bin Abdullah, from Ya’qoub bin Yazid, from Ja’far bin Muhammed bin ‘Uqba, from the one he narrated, from Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, with regards to the saying of Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He: «Dwelling in it for epochs» (78:24). He said
The epochs are eight epochs, and one epoch is (consisting of) eighty years, and one year is three hundred and sixty days, and one day is like a thousand years of what you count.
أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا سعد بن عبد الله، عن يعقوب بن يزيد، عن جعفر بن محمد بن عقبة، عمن رواه، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام في قول الله عز وجل: " لا بثين فيها أحقابا " قال
الأحقاب ثمانية أحقاب والحقبة ثمانون سنة، والسنة ثلاثمائة وستون يوما، واليوم كألف سنة مما تعدون.

“One who controls himself at the time of fear and anger, Allah will prohibit fire for his body.”

مَنْ مَلَکَ نَفْسَهُ إِذَا رَغِبَ وَ إِذَا رَهِبَ وَ إِذَا اشْتَهَی وَ إِذَا غَضِبَ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ جَسَدَهُ عَلَی النَّارِ.

یُؤْتَی یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ بِإِبْلِیسَ مَعَ مُضِلِّ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّهِ فِی زِمَامَیْنِ غِلَظُهُمَا مِثْلُ جَبَلِ أُحُدٍ فَیُسْحَبَانِ عَلَی وُجُوهِهِمَا فَیَنْسَدُّ بِهِمَا بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ النَّارِ.

1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Ziyad al-Qandi from Muhammad b. Abi Hamzah from Ees b. al-Qasim who said
The discussion of the killer of Imam Husain (a.s.) was going on with Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.). A companion expressed his wish saying that Allah should take revenge from the killer in this world itself. Imam (a.s.) told him, “In this way, you are reducing the punishment of Allah while it is very severe and painful.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ زِیَادٍ الْقَنْدِیِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ عَنْ عِیصِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ
ذُکِرَ عِنْدَ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَاتِلُ الْحُسَیْنِ ع فَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ کُنْتُ أَتَمَنَّی أَنْ یَنْتَقِمَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ فِی الدُّنْیَا قَالَ کَأَنَّکَ تَسْتَقِلُّ لَهُ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ وَ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَشَدُّ عَذَاباً وَ أَشَدُّ نَکَالًا مِنْهُ.

8. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “The proud will be gathered on the Day of Judgment with their bodies as diminutive as that of ants. People will tease them till Allah concludes accounting of all the people. Then Allah will put them into Hell where they will be made to drink the dirt coming out of the private parts of a fornicateress and dirty blood and puss of the people of Hell.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص یُحْشَرُ الْمُتَکَبِّرُونَ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ فِی خَلْقِ الذَّرِّ فِی صُورَهِ النَّاسِ یُوطَئُونَ حَتَّی یَفْرُغَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ حِسَابِ خَلْقِهِ ثُمَّ یُسْلَکُ بِهِمْ یُوطَئُونَ نَاراً لا بنار یُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ طِینَهِ الْخَبَالِ مِنْ عُصَارَهِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ.

2. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa from al-Hussain b. Sayf from his brother al-Hassan from his brother Ali from his father who said it was narrated to me by al-Hajjaj b. Artah who said it was narrated to me by Abu al-Zubayr from Jabir b. Abdillah from The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) who said
Two things are causes of two others. One who dies testifying that there is no God except Allah shall enter Paradise and one who dies associating someone or something with Allah shall enter Fire (of Hell).
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَخِیهِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِی الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاهَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَبُو الزُّبَیْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِیِّ ص قَالَ: الْمُوجِبَتَانِ قَالَ مَنْ مَاتَ یَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّهَ وَ مَنْ مَاتَ یُشْرِکُ بِاللَّهِ دَخَلَ النَّارَ.
