He said: "The adhan and the iqamah must be recited with firmness." In another narration, it states, "They must be delivered with a pause."

“Whenever you laugh loudly you should pray God not to get angry with you.”

I asked Abu Ja'far (peace be upon him) about the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, 'So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the light which We have sent down.' (68:4) He said: 'O Abu Khalid, by Allah, the light is the Imams from the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) until the Day of Resurrection. And by Allah, they are the light of Allah which has been sent down. And by Allah, they are the light of Allah in the heavens and on the earth. By Allah, O Abu Khalid, the light of the Imam in the hearts of the believers is brighter than the shining sun by day. And by Allah, they illuminate the hearts of the believers, and Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, hides their light from whomever He wills, causing their hearts to darken. By Allah, O Abu Khalid, no servant loves us and takes us as authority until Allah purifies his heart, and Allah does not purify the heart of a servant until he fully submits to us and is at peace with us. When he is at peace with us, Allah will protect him from the severe reckoning and will secure him from the greatest terror on the Day of Resurrection.'"

I heard Aba `Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) say: Whoever says “Allah knows” regarding something that he does not know, the Throne shakes out of the greatness of Allah.

“After the death of Ali bin al-Husayn (Imam as-Sajjad) (as), I went to Abu Ja’far al-Baqir (as). I said to him: “May I die for you! You know that I have kept to your father, felt so happy when being with him and left people aside.” He said: “O Abu Khalid, that is right. What do you want then?” I said: “May I die for you! Your father has described to me the man of this matter (al-Qa’im) in a way that if I see him anywhere, I shall catch his hand.” He said: “Then what do you want?” I said: “I want you to name him so that I shall know him by the name.” He said: “O Abu Khalid, by Allah you asked a so difficult question. You asked me about something that I have never told anyone of. If I have told someone of that, I shall have told you. You asked about something that if the Prophet’s progeny themselves have known it, they will have tried their best to hide it.”

“O Abu Ali, do you not see the wonders in which we are? Do you not consider the affair of this man (Imam Musa) and relieve us from his worry?” So he advised correctly and guided him to a good deed, saying to him: “Commander of the faithful, I think that you have to be kind to him and to link to his womb relatives. For, by Allah, he has spoiled the hearts of our followers against us.” Harun Rashid responded to his advice, saying to him: “Go to him, remove the iron from him, give him my regards, and say: ‘Your cousin says: I have sworn by Allah concerning you that I will not release you unless you admit that you have mistreated me. You must ask me to forgive your past deeds. There is no disgrace in your admitting (that), nor is there any defect in your asking me for that. This is Yahya bin Khalid, my trustworthy one, minister and head of my affairs. So ask him in as much as I get rid of my oath and you would also be able to return to Medina safely.”’

Hadith.2597 - Khalid ibn Abi al-'Ala' al-Khaffaf narrated: "I saw Abu Ja'far (as) wearing a green striped cloak (burd akhdar) while he was in the state of Ihram."

He said: "The takbir (saying 'Allahu Akbar') in the adhan must be pronounced firmly, with clear articulation of the 'ha' and 'alif'“.

Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (MGB) said, “The neighborhood zone of a mosque is forty ells , and the precincts of a mosque span out to forty houses away in each direction.”

I asked Abu Ja’far, peace be upon him, about the apparent of the Qur’an and its inside. He said: Its apparent applies to those for whose sake the (scattered verses of the) Qur’an was revealed, and its inside applies to those who act by the same deeds of theirs; it continues in them what was revealed for the sake of those (of the apparent sense).

“’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘Skull-cap, shoes, turban, loincloth and trousers are removed from a martyr unless they have become bloody in which case, they are left with, him and everything tied down with him is turned loose and open.’”

Hadith.1565 - Uqbah ibn Khalid asked Him (Imam Abu Abdullah (as)) about a man who was praying and another man called out to him, causing him to become distracted and respond to the person's request. What should he do? Imam (as) said: "He should continue with his prayer."

I asked Abu Al-Hasan (as) about a man who bequeathed a portion of his wealth. Imam (as) replied: "It is one-seventh of his one-third share."

“I once heard abu al-Hassan, Alayhi al-Salam, saying, ‘You must use ruby in the ring; it disallows poverty.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Milk is the food of the Messengers.”’

“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about ‘Aqiqah and he (the Imam) said, ‘It is the same for both male and female.”’

Abu Abdullah (as) said: "Whoever initiates aggression and is then retaliated against, there is no retribution (qisas) for him."

If three days of a person’s life pass by without reciting Surah Tauheed, he is without a companion. Faith will be taken away from him and if that person dies after these three days, he will die as a disbeliever of Allah, the Greatest.”

1 – Dāwud b. Kathīr b. Abī Khālid al-Raqqī, client of the Banū Asad. Narrates from Abū ʿAbillah عليه السلام . He was corrupt in madhhab. Weak in narration. He is not regarded.
