10. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ishaq ibn Muhammad al-Nakha’iy from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Fadalah from Musa ibn Bakr who has said the following
“I heard abu al-Hassan, Musa (a.s.), read the following: ‘O mother, if I may become indebted (consider) that Moses son of ‘Imran would also borrow.’”
10- عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُمْهُورٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ قَالَ
مَا أُحْصِي مَا سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يُنْشِدُ. فَإِنْ يَكُ يَا أُمَيْمُ عَلَيَّ دَيْنٌ فَعِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى يَسْتَدِينُ‏.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “About the case of a man who dies indebted and someone guarantees the creditors to pay them on behalf of the deceased, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘
If the creditors agree with such guarantees, the deceased becomes free of his responsibility for payment of debts he owed.”’
2- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَمُوتُ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَيَضْمَنُهُ ضَامِنٌ لِلْغُرَمَاءِ فَقَالَ
إِذَا رَضِيَ بِهِ الْغُرَمَاءُ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ ذِمَّةُ الْمَيِّتِ.

hadith 304
1. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Salih ibn abu Hammad from ibn Sinan from Hudhayfah ibn Mansur who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The month of Ramadan is thirty days and it never is less.”’ (Fatwa best explains this Hadith, however according to science, a lunar (synodic) month is 29 days, 12 hours, and approximately 44 minutes) It is narrated from him (narrator of previous Hadith) from al-Hassan ibn al-Husayn from ibn Sinan from Hudhayfah a similar Hadith.
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ثَلاثُونَ يَوْماً لا يَنْقُصُ أَبَداً. وَعَنْهُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ مِثْلَهُ.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Muhammad al-Qasaniy from abu Ayyub al-Madiniy from Sulayman ibn Ja‘far al-Ja‘fariy who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’, has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, liked to look at the green citron and red apple.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْمَدِينِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّ
رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ النَّظَرُ إِلَى الْأُتْرُجِّ الْأَخْضَرِ وَ التُّفَّاحِ الْأَحْمَرِ .

hadith 422
3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Tarif from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a woman becomes fifty years old, she does not see anything red (experience Hayd (menses)) unless she is from Quraysh.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ خَمْسِينَ سَنَةً لَمْ تَرَ حُمْرَةً إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ.

hadith 535
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said that
he asked abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, in the following verse. “Believers, be pious before God and always be friends with the truthful ones.” (9:119) The Imams (a.s.) said, “The truthful ones are the Imams (a.s.) who, are truthful in their obedience (to Allah).”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا الله وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُونَ هُمُ الائِمَّةُ وَالصِّدِّيقُونَ بِطَاعَتِهِمْ.

2. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Bakr ibn Salih from al-Ja‘fariy who has said the following
“I once heard abu al-Hassan, Musa (a.s.), saying, The apple has several benefits. It is beneficial against poison, magic and slight mental derangement, which is caused (spread) from the people of the earth and increased phlegm. No other thing is so quickly beneficial.’”
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ التُّفَّاحُ يَنْفَعُ مِنْ خِصَالٍ عِدَّةٍ مِنَ السَّمِّ وَ السِّحْرِ وَ اللَّمَمِ يَعْرِضُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ وَ الْبَلْغَمِ الْغَالِبِ وَ لَيْسَ شَيْ‏ءٌ أَسْرَعَ مِنْهُ مَنْفَعَةً .

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Isma’il ibn Hammam who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said that abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the one who travels on foot for al-Hajj, has said, ‘When one throws pebbles on Jamar, he can visit the House riding; and he is not obligated for anything in this matter.’”
7ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) فِي الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ الْمَشْيُ فِي الْحَجِّ إِذَا رَمَى الْجِمَارَ زَارَ الْبَيْتَ رَاكِباً وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ.

4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from Malik ibn ‘Atiyyah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said that a woman must not optionally fast without permission from her husband.”
4ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) لَيْسَ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَصُومَ تَطَوُّعاً إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا.

2. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali, from ‘Isa al-Farra’ from ‘Abd Allah ibn abu Ya’fur who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, performed Hajj ten times secretly and every time when in al-Mazimin would disembark and pass water (it was the first place where idols were worshipped).”
2ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عِيسَى الْفَرَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
حَجَّ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) عَشْرَ حِجَّاتٍ مُسْتَسِرّاً فِي كُلِّهَا يَمُرُّ بِالْمَأْزِمَيْنِ فَيَنْزِلُ وَيَبُولُ.

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan [ibn Ibrahim] ibn Muhammad al-Hamadaniy who has narrated the following
“Once, Muhammad ibn Yahya wrote (to the Imam), ‘Is it lawful for an executor of the will to buy something from the assets of the deceased as the highest bidder? He (the Imam) said, ‘It is permissible if he buys it in an undamaged condition.’”
10- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ [بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ] بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمَذَانِيِّ قَالَ
كَتَبَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى هَلْ لِلْوَصِيِّ أَنْ يَشْتَرِيَ شَيْئاً مِنْ مَالِ الْمَيِّتِ إِذَا بِيعَ فِيمَنْ زَادَ فَيَزِيدَ وَيَأْخُذَ لِنَفْسِهِ فَقَالَ يَجُوزُ إِذَا اشْتَرَى صَحِيحاً.

30. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ya’qub ibn Yazid from al-Husayn ibn Bashshar al-Wasitiy who has said the following
“I once wrote to abu al-Hassan al-Rida’ (a.s.), and asked, ‘One of my relatives has proposed for marriage but there is something in his moral manners. He (the Imam) said, ‘You must not give in marriage if his moral manners are bad/”
30- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ الْوَاسِطِيِّ قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَنَّ لِي قَرَابَةً قَدْ خَطَبَ إِلَيَّ وَفِي خُلُقِهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ فَقَالَ لا تُزَوِّجْهُ إِنْ كَانَ سَيِّئَ الْخُلُقِ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from abu Muhammad al-Wabishiy who has said the following
“Certain persons of our people asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who has purchased with money from Zakat of his assets his own father. He (the Imam) said, ‘He has purchased the best slave and it is not harmful.’”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَابِشِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلَهُ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ رَجُلٍ اشْتَرَى أَبَاهُ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ زَكَاةِ مَالِهِ قَالَ اشْتَرَى خَيْرَ رَقَبَةٍ لاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn al-Hakam who has said the following
“Once when I was selling al-Sabiriy (a certain kind of fabric) in the shade, abu al-Hassan (a.s.), passed by and said to me, ‘O Hisham, selling in shade is cheating and cheating is not lawful.’”
6- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ
كُنْتُ أَبِيعُ السَّابِرِيَّ فِي الظِّلالِ فَمَرَّ بِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَقَالَ لِي يَا هِشَامُ إِنَّ الْبَيْعَ فِي الظِّلِّ غِشٌّ وَإِنَّ الْغِشَّ لا يَحِلُّ.

12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from [his father] from Yasar who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘My friend Jibril has told me to apply perfume one day and not on the next day. On Friday it is necessary and it must not be ignored.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَاسِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ لِي حَبِيبِي جَبْرَئِيلُ ( عليه السلام ) تَطَيَّبْ يَوْماً وَ يَوْماً لَا وَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ لَا بُدَّ مِنْهُ وَ لَا تَتْرُكْ لَهُ .

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Murazim who has said the following
“I once entered a bathhouse with abu al-Hassan (a.s.). When he (the Imam) came out to the room for undressing, he asked for the incense stand, and applied incense in it then said, ‘Allow them to the incense O Murazim.’ I then asked, ‘Can anyone who wants take a share?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, they can do so.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُرَازِمٍ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) الْحَمَّامَ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمَسْلَخِ دَعَا بِمِجْمَرَةٍ فَتَجَمَّرَ بِهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ جَمِّرُوا مُرَازِمُ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ نَصِيبَهُ يَأْخُذُ قَالَ نَعَمْ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ali ibn Muhammad al-Qasaniy who has said the following
“Once Ali ibn Bilal wrote to abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the condition of a grave asking, ‘Someone may die in our area but the ground of the grave is wet.’ We pave it (the floor) with teak (wooden board) or cover it in this way, is this permissible? He (the Imam) wrote the answer, ‘It is permissible.’” H 4536, Ch. 64, h 2
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقَاسَانِيِّ قَالَ
كَتَبَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) أَنَّهُ رُبَّمَا مَاتَ الْمَيِّتُ عِنْدَنَا وَتَكُونُ الأرْضُ نَدِيَّةً فَنَفْرُشُ الْقَبْرَ بِالسَّاجِ أَوْ نُطْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ فَهَلْ يَجُوزُ ذَلِكَ فَكَتَبَ ذَلِكَ جَائِزٌ.

H 447 - It is narrated from Fadhl from Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Abi Nasr from Abul Hasan Imam Ali Ridha (a.s) that he said
“Among the signs of the relief is an event, which will occur between the two mosques (of Mecca and Medina). So-and-so from the descendants of so-and-so will kill fifteen leaders of the Arabs.”
447- الفضل، عن أحمد بن محمد بن أبي نصر، عن أبي الحسن الرضا عليه السلام قال
إن من علامات الفرج حدثا يكون بين الحرمين. قلت: وأي شئ (يكون) الحدث؟ فقال:عصبية تكون بين الحرمين، ويقتل فلان من ولد فلان خمسة عشر كبشا.

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘You (my followers) should bring up more children because I will claim to have the majority with you among the nations tomorrow (on the Day of Judgment).”’
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَكْثِرُوا الْوَلَدَ أُكَاثِرْ بِكُمُ الْأُمَمَ غَداً .

2. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Mu’ammar ibn al-Khallad who has said the following
“I heard abu al-Hassan (a.s.) saying, ‘There are servants of Allah on earth who endeavor to help people, these (helping ones) will be secure and safe on the Day of Judgment. Whoever sends joy to the heart of a believer, on the Day of Judgment, Allah will fill his heart with joy.’”
2ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَمَّرِ بْنِ خَلادٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ إِنَّ لله عِبَاداً فِي الأرْضِ يَسْعَوْنَ فِي حَوَائِجِ النَّاسِ هُمُ الآمِنُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ أَدْخَلَ عَلَى مُؤْمِنٍ سُرُوراً فَرَّحَ الله قَلْبَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
