11.Al-Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb narrated from Abū Ḥamzah, from Abū Jaʿfar (a) who said
“The Messenger of Allah (ṣ) said, ‘The servant will remain standing in front of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, until He asks him about four aspects [of his life in the world]: “Your lifetime – what did you spend it on? Your body – what did you exhaust it for? Your wealth – where did you earn it from and where did you invest it?” And [he will be asked] about our love – the Ahl al-Bayt.’”
الحسن بن محبوب عن أبي حمزة عن أبي جعفر عليه السلام قال
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: لا يزال قائما يوم القيامة بين يدي الله عز وجل حتى يسأله عن أربع خصال: عمرك فيما أفنيته؟ وجسدك فيما أبليته؟ ومالك من أين كسبته وأين وضعته؟ وعن حبنا أهل البيت.

(20) Ali bin al-Husayn narrated from Muhammad bin Ali al-Kufi from al-Hasan bin Mahboob from Ali bin Abu Hamza from Abu Baseer that Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as) had said
“Why do you urge on the appearance of al-Qa’im? By Allah, he wears rough cloths and eats coarse food. There will be nothing but the sword and killing under the shadow of the sword.”
20 - أخبرنا علي بن الحسين بإسناده عن محمد بن علي الكوفي، عن الحسن بن محبوب، عن علي بن أبي حمزة، عن أبي بصير، عن أبي عبد الله
أنه قال: ما تستعجلون بخروج القائم؟ فوالله ما لباسه إلاّ الغليظ، ولا طعامه إلاّ الجشب، وما هو إلاّ السيف، والموت تحت ظل السيف.

hadith 394
1 - In this chain of narration, from Al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Suraqa, from his father, from Abu Abdullah (Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (as)), he said
"Whoever recites Surah Al-Hajj every three days, his age will not end until he goes to the Sacred House of Allah (Kaaba), and if he dies during his journey, he will enter paradise." I asked, "What if he is unable to do so?" He replied, "Some of the difficulty will be alleviated for him."
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ سَوْرَهَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الْحَجِّ فِی کُلِّ ثَلَاثَهِ أَیَّامٍ لَمْ تَخْرُجْ سَنَتُهُ حَتَّی یَخْرُجَ إِلَی بَیْتِ اللَّهِ الْحَرَامِ وَ إِنْ مَاتَ فِی سَفَرِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّهَ قُلْتُ فَإِنْ کَانَ مُخَالِفاً قَالَ یُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُ بَعْضُ مَا هُوَ فِیهِ.

Hadith.5067 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Abbad ibn Suhayb who said
Abu Abdullah (as) was asked about a Christian who accused a Muslim by saying to him, "O' adulterer." Imam (as) said: "He is to be flogged eighty lashes for violating the right of the Muslim and eighty lashes minus one for violating the sanctity of Islam. His head is to be shaved, and he is to be paraded among the people of his religion so that others may be deterred."
5067 - وَ رَوَى اَلْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ نَصْرَانِيٍّ قَذَفَ مُسْلِماً فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا زَانِ قَالَ "يُجْلَدُ ثَمَانِينَ جَلْدَةً لِحَقِّ اَلْمُسْلِمِ وَ ثَمَانِينَ جَلْدَةً إِلاَّ سَوْطاً لِحُرْمَةِ اَلْإِسْلاَمِ وَ يُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ وَ يُطَافُ بِهِ فِي أَهْلِ دِينِهِ لِكَيْ يُنَكَّلَ غَيْرُهُ".

Hadith.3910 - It is narrated from Ali bin Yaqtin, who said
I asked Abu Al-Hasan (as) about a man who rents a house or a boat from another man for a year, more, or less. Imam (as) said: "The lease is binding until the agreed-upon time. As for the payment of the rent, it is up to the owner, if he wishes, he may take it, and if he wishes, he may waive it."
3910 - وَ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَقْطِينٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يَتَكَارَى مِنَ اَلرَّجُلِ اَلْبَيْتَ أَوِ اَلسَّفِينَةَ سَنَةً وَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ أَقَلَّ قَالَ "اَلْكِرَى لاَزِمٌ إِلَى اَلْوَقْتِ اَلَّذِي تَكَارَى إِلَيْهِ وَ اَلْخِيَارُ فِي أَخْذِ اَلْكِرَى إِلَى رَبِّهَا إِنْ شَاءَ أَخَذَ وَ إِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ".

28-41 Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Hamadani quoted on the authority of Ali ibn Al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Fadhdhal, on the authority ofhis father
“I heard Ali ibn Musa Al-Ridha (s) say, ‘God will forgive the sins of whoever asks for forgiveness seventy times during the (Arabic) month of Ramadan even if his sins are as numerous as the stars.’”

30-25 (The author of the book narrated) my father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashem quoted on the authority of Muhammad ibn Isa ibn Obayd, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Arafat that Abul Hassan Al-Ridha (s) told him
“O Ibn Arafat! In fact, God’s Blessings are like a camel tied up near a river where it rests. The people can gain benefits from it for as long as they treat it well. However, as soon as they mistreat it, it will leave them and they will lose it.”
25 - حَدَّثَنا أَبي رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا عَلِىِّ بْنِ إِبراهِيمِ بْنِ هاشِم عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبِيْد عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عرفة قالَ
قالَ أَبُو الحَسَن الرِّضا عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ: يَا ابْنَ عَرَفَةَ إِنَّ النِّعَمَ كَالإِبِلِ الْمَعْقُولَةِ فِي عَطَنِهَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ مَا أَحْسَنُوا جِوَارَهَا فَإِذَا أَسَاءُوا مُعَامَلَتَهَا وَإِنَالَتَهَا نَفَرَتْ عَنْهُمْ.

(24) Muhammad bin Hammam narrated from Ja’far bin Muhammad bin Malik from Abbad bin Ya’qoob from al-Hasan bin Hammad at-Ta’iy from Abul Jarood that Abu Ja’far Muhammad bin Ali al-Baqir (as) had said
“The man of this matter is the homeless, fugitive man, who loses his father, who is surnamed with his uncle’s name, who is separated from his family and whose name is like a prophet’s name.”
24 - وحدثنا محمد بن همام قال: حدثني جعفر بن محمد بن مالك، قال: حدثني عباد بن يعقوب، قال: حدثني الحسن بن حماد الطائي، عن أبي الجارود عن أبي جعفر محمد بن علي
أنه قال: صاحبُ هذا الأمر هو الطريدُ الشريد الموتورُ بأبيه، المكنّى بعمه، المفردُ من أهله، اسمُه اسم نبي.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “When one of you eats food he should wipe (lick) his fingers, clean with which he has eaten; Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, says, ‘Allah grants you blessings.”””
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَاماً فَمَصَّ أَصَابِعَهُ الَّتِي أَكَلَ بِهَا قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ فِيكَ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ’Eat what falls off of food, because in it is cure for all kinds of illness by the permission of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, for those who seek cures.’”

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) كُلُوا مَا يَسْقُطُ مِنَ الْخِوَانِ فَإِنَّهُ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْتَشْفِيَ بِهِ .

3. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ya‘qub ibn Yazid from Yahya ibn al-Mubarak [from ‘Abd Allah ibn al- Mubarak] from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from Ali ibn abu Hamzah who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan or abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘Everyone has a vein of leprosy so you should dissolve it with turnips.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ [عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ] عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَبَلَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) أَوْ قَالَ
عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَ بِهِ عِرْقٌ مِنَ الْجُذَامِ فَأَذِيبُوهُ بِأَكْلِ السَّلْجَمِ .

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn al-Faddal from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Imran al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who performs three Tawaf (walking around the House) of obligatory nature; then he finds an opportunity to enter the House and he enters the House and about what he is required to do. He (the Imam) said, ‘He must perform Qada’ (compensatory) of his Tawaf, because he has done against the Sunnah; he must perform Tawaf again.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ثَلاثَةَ أَشْوَاطٍ مِنَ الْفَرِيضَةِ ثُمَّ وَجَدَ خَلْوَةً مِنَ الْبَيْتِ فَدَخَلَهُ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ فَقَالَ يَقْضِي طَوَافَهُ وَقَدْ خَالَفَ السُّنَّةَ فَلْيُعِدْ طَوَافَهُ.

1. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan ibn Ali from al-‘Abbas ibn ‘Amir and Muhammad ibn Yahya al- Khath’amiy from Durays ibn ‘Abd al-Malik who has said the following
“When it was mentioned to abu Ja‘far (a.s.), that a man married a woman during the heat of the midday, abu Ja’far (a.s.), said, ‘I do not see they can agree.’ They then separated from each other (as he (the Imam) had mentioned).’”
1- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْخَثْعَمِيِّ عَنْ ضُرَيْسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ
لَمَّا بَلَغَ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّ رَجُلا تَزَوَّجَ فِي سَاعَةٍ حَارَّةٍ عِنْدَ نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ فَقَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) مَا أَرَاهُمَا يَتَّفِقَانِ فَافْتَرَقَا.

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about the case of a man who slaughters an animal but he says Tasbih (Allah is free of all defects) or Takbir (Allah is great beyond description) or Tahlil, (no one deserves worship except Allah) or Tahmid, (all praise belongs to Allah). He (the Imam) said, ‘All these are names of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, and are not harmful.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ ذَبَحَ فَسَبَّحَ أَوْ كَبَّرَ أَوْ هَلَّلَ أَوْ حَمِدَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ قَالَ هَذَا كُلُّهُ مِنْ أَسْمَاءِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .

6. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from ‘Abd Allah from Ibrahim ibn Ishaq from ‘Abd Allah ibn Ahmad from al-Hassan ibn ‘Urwah son of the sister of Shu’ayb al-‘Aqarqufiy from his maternal uncle, Shu’ayb who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), said to me, ‘If one feels hungry he should take Wudu’ and perform two Rak‘at Salah (prayer), then say, “O my Lord, I am hungry. Please feed me.” He will be fed within the same hour.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ابْنِ أُخْتِ شُعَيْبٍ الْعَقَرْقُوفِيِّ عَنْ خَالِهِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) مَنْ جَاعَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ وَلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنِّي جَائِعٌ فَأَطْعِمْنِي فَإِنَّهُ يُطْعَمُ مِنْ سَاعَتِهِ.

3. Muhammad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah has narrated from Muhammad ibn Hassan from al-Hassan ibn al-Husayn from Ali ibn ‘Abd Allah from Yazid ibn Ishaq from Harun ibn Kharijah from al-Mufaddal who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘On Friday no other form of obedience to Allah is more beloved to me than saying, “Allahumma Salli ‘Ala Muhammad wa ‘Ali Muhammad (O Allah grant Muhammad and his family compensation worthy of their serving Your cause.)””’
3ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ خَارِجَةَ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
مَا مِنْ شَيْ‏ءٍ يُعْبَدُ الله بِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ.

11. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-‘Amrakiy from Ali ibn Ja‘far from his brother abu al-Hassan (a.s.), who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not lawful to use eel, turtle and crab for food.’ I then asked him (the Imam) about the shellfish of the ocean and al-Furat: if they could be used for food. He (the Imam) said, ‘That is the flesh of frogs and it is not lawful to use it for food.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْعَمْرَكِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
لَا يَحِلُّ أَكْلُ الْجِرِّيِّ وَ لَا السُّلَحْفَاةِ وَ لَا السَّرَطَانِ قَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اللَّحْمِ الَّذِي يَكُونُ فِي أَصْدَافِ الْبَحْرِ وَ الْفُرَاتِ أَ يُؤْكَلُ فَقَالَ ذَاكَ لَحْمُ الضَّفَادِعِ لَا يَحِلُّ أَكْلُهُ .

4. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakil who said it was narrated to me by Abdillah b. Ja’far al-Himyari from Muhammad b. al-Hussain b. Abi al-Khattab from al-Hassan b. Mahbub from Abdillah b. Sinan from Abi Hamzah al-Thumali who said
Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) was asked, “What is the lowest form of idol-worship?” Imam (a.s.) replied, “Creating a new religion and loving and hating people on the basis of it.”
حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی بْنِ الْمُتَوَکِّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِی حَمْزَهَ الثُّمَالِیِّ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع مَا أَدْنَی النَّصْبِ فَقَالَ أَنْ یَبْتَدِعَ الرَّجُلُ شَیْئاً فَیُحِبَّ عَلَیْهِ وَ یُبْغِضَ عَلَیْهِ.

16. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from Rifa’ah who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan, Musa (a.s.), about the case of a man who shares a slave-girl with another man and says, ‘If we made profit half is for you, if it is a loss then there is nothing on you.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘I do not see anything unlawful in it if the owner of the slave-girl agrees without compulsion.’”
16- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ رَجُلٍ شَارَكَ رَجُلا فِي جَارِيَةٍ لَهُ وَقَالَ إِنْ رَبِحْنَا فِيهَا فَلَكَ نِصْفُ الرِّبْحِ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ وَضِيعَةٌ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ فَقَالَ لا أَرَى بِهَذَا بَأْساً إِذَا طَابَتْ نَفْسُ صَاحِبِ الْجَارِيَةِ.
