He said: "There is no issue with praying on mats made from reeds or on palm-leaf mats, and on any plant-based material, except for fruit”.

"If you experience frequent distraction (waswasah), ignore it, for it will soon leave you. It is only from Satan”.

"The child of mula'anah is inherited by his mother with one-third, and the remainder belongs to the Imam of the Muslims."

"At the top of every bridge, there is a devil. When you reach it, say: 'In the name of Allah (swt),' and it will depart from you."

"Making a will completes what is lacking from the payment of zakat."

"A girl should not be consummated with until she reaches nine or ten years of age."

“Kindness [to parents] increases one’s lifespan and charity given secretly calms the Lord’s wrath.”

“About the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, ‘Salah (prayer) in Mawqut (with certain timing) form was written on believers’ abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘it means obligatory.’”

"The testimony of a Muslim slave is valid against a free Muslim."

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Prayer after an obligatory Salah (prayer) is better than after non-obligatory Salah (prayer).”’

I asked Imam (as) about the reward for returning a runaway slave or lost property. Imam (as) said: "There is no harm in it."

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), disliked the peeling of fruits.’”

“I heard Abā Jaʿfar (a) say, ‘When the soul reaches this place (meaning the throat), there is no repentance for the knowledgeable, but there is [a possibility of] repentance for the ignorant.’”

"The prayer of the two Eids (Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha) with the Imam is a Sunnah, and there is no prayer before or after them on that day until noon (zawal)."

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘People suffering from illness can make gestures in their Salah (prayer).”’

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Applying hair dye with henna stirs up gray hairs.’”

Hadith.4049 - Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) about a lost item found by a poor person, whether he is in the same position regarding it as a wealthy person. Imam (as) said: "Yes." Imam (as) further said: " Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussain (as) used to say, 'It belongs to its owner, do not touch it.'" He (Ali ibn Ja'far) said: I also asked Imam (as) about a man who finds a dirham, a piece of clothing, or a riding animal, what should he do? Imam (as) said: "He should announce it for one year. If its owner does not come forward, he should keep it as part of his property until its claimant appears, and then he must return it. If he dies, he should include it in his will, and he is responsible for it."

He was born eight days before Shaban of the year two hundred and fifty six. His representative was Uthman Ibn Saeed; and when he died, Uthman Ibn Saeed appointed Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibn Uthman; and Abu Ja’far appointed Abul Qasim Husain Ibn Rauh; and Abul Qasim appointed Abul Hasan Ali Ibn Muhammad Saymoori. And when it was the time of final departure of Saymoori, he was asked to appoint a successor. He said: “To Allah belongs the Order and He is its Sustainer.” The full occultation is the one that began after the demise of Saymoori.

Hadith.1045 - Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) on whether it is permissible for a man to lean against the wall of the mosque while he is praying, or to place his hand on the wall while standing, without any illness or condition?" He (as) replied: "There is no harm in that." He also asked: "What about a man who is praying the obligatory prayer, and in the first two rak'ahs, he stands up and leans on the side of the mosque to help him rise, without any weakness or condition?" He (as) replied: "There is no harm in that either."

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: When blessings overcome a person, he is to say: “Praise be to Allah (alhamdulillah)”, and when poverty pressures him, he is to say: “There is no ability nor power except by Allah, the High, the Great (la hawla wala quwwata illa billah al-`ali al-`athim)”, for surely, it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise. In it is a remedy for seventy-two maladies, the lowest of which is worry.
