3. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Yunus ibn Ya’qub from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, performed Hajj a total of twenty times.”
3ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
حَجَّ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) عِشْرِينَ حَجَّةً.

5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Tha’Labah’ ibn Maymun from Muhammad ibn Qays from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, loves offering the greeting of peace openly, loud and clearly.”
5ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُحِبُّ إِفْشَاءَ السَّلامِ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Wearing the ring (insignia) is of the noble tradition.’”

2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from ‘Abd ‘Abd al-’Aziz al-Muhtadiy in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Everyone has a vein of leprosy, so you should dissolve it with turnips.’ ”
عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمُهْتَدِي رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَ فِيهِ عِرْقٌ مِنَ الْجُذَامِ فَأَذِيبُوهُ بِالسَّلْجَمِ .

2 – Bakr b. Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Mūsā, al-ʿAṣarī. He claimed that he was of the children of Ashjj of the Banū ʿAṣarī of whom the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله spoke. Known by the kunya Abū Muḥammad. Narrates strange reports. Relies on unknown (narrators). And his affair is obscure.
2 - بكر بن أحمد بن محمد بن موسى، العصري، يزعم أنه من ولد أشج بني عصر الوارد على النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)، يكنى أبا محمد. يروي الغرائب، ويعتمد المجاهيل. وأمره مظلم.

2. Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) narrates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “Curse be on one who walks on the earth proudly for he is clashing against the Omnipotent One of the earth and heavens.”
أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص وَیْلٌ لِمَنْ فِی الْأَرْضِ یُعَارِضُ جَبَّارَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ.

3. Ahmad has narrated from certain individuals of our people about al-Mubahalah this
“Crisscross the fingers of your hand with his fingers and say, ‘O Lord, if so and so has rejected a truth or has professed a falsehood, make him suffer misfortune from the sky or a painful punishment by Your command and then (the parties) renounce each other seventy times.’”
3ـ أَحْمَدُ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا فِي الْمُبَاهَلَةِ قَالَ تُشَبِّكُ أَصَابِعَكَ فِي أَصَابِعِهِ ثُمَّ تَقُولُ اللهمَّ إِنْ كَانَ فُلانٌ جَحَدَ حَقّاً وَأَقَرَّ بِبَاطِلٍ فَأَصِبْهُ بِحُسْبَانٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَوْ بِعَذَابٍ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَتُلاعِنُهُ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً.

6. Ahmad ibn Muhammad from has narrated from Ali ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from his father who has said the following
“I once wrote to abu al-Hassan and asked about one’s performing an enema when fasting. He (the Imam) wrote back, ‘It is not harmful with a solid substance (as opposed to liquid).”’
6ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) مَا تَقُولُ فِي التَّلَطُّفِ يَسْتَدْخِلُهُ الإِنْسَانُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَكَتَبَ لا بَأْسَ بِالْجَامِدِ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Shadhan ibn Khalil al-Naysaburiy from Mu’ammar ibn ‘Umar who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ’For wiping the head it is sufficient to wipe a portion of it the size of three fingers and so also is the case of the feet.’”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ شَاذَانَ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ النَّيْسَابُورِيِّ عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
يُجْزِئُ مِنَ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الرَّأْسِ مَوْضِعُ ثَلاَثِ أَصَابِعَ وَكَذَلِكَ الرِّجْلُ.

16. A number of our people has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa who has said the following
“I asked (Imam) Abu al-Hassan Musa (a.s.) about the use of analogy and the Imam said, ‘What do you have to do with analogy? Allah is not asked about how he made things lawful or unlawful.’”
16ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنِ الْقِيَاسِ فَقَالَ مَا لَكُمْ وَالْقِيَاسَ إِنَّ الله لا يُسْأَلُ كَيْفَ أَحَلَّ وَكَيْفَ حَرَّمَ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ya’qub ibn Yazid in a marfu’ manner from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) who has said the following
“If one reads the Holy Quran from a copy, he benefits from his eyesight, and his parents receive relief even if they are unbelievers.”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ مُتِّعَ بِبَصَرِهِ وَخُفِّفَ عَنْ وَالِدَيْهِ وَإِنْ كَانَا كَافِرَيْنِ.

12. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from ibn Faddal from Hafs and from more than one person of our people who has narrated the following
“Once abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about the case of a man who swears by his brother. He (the Imam) said, ‘It does not have any valid effect on him; he only wanted to honor and respect him.’”
12- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ حَفْصٍ وَغَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُقْسِمُ عَلَى أَخِيهِ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ إِنَّمَا أَرَادَ إِكْرَامَهُ.

6. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Ishaq from Sa’dan ibn Muslim from abu Basir and others from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“It is honoring Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, to honor an old Muslim.”
6ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعْدَانَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ مِنْ إِجْلالِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِجْلالُ ذِي الشَّيْبَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ.

3. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan from Ibrahim ibn abu Bakr al-Samal al-Asadiy from those who narrated to him who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who is about to die is more rightful to his assets as long as he is alive.’”
3- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّمَّالِ الأسَدِيِّ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
الْمَيِّتُ أَوْلَى بِمَالِهِ مَا دَامَ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ.

“A town in which seven believers live remains safe from torment.”

لا يُصِيبُ قَرْيَةً عَذَابٌ وَفِيهَا سَبْعَةٌ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.

I heard him (i.e. the Imam) saying: It is incumbent on a man when he wakes up (in the morning) that he recite after the Taʿqīb (post dawn-prayer supplications) fifty verses

5. Ahmad narrated from his father, from Ali ibn al-Nu’man, from his brother, from Dawud ibn al-Nu’man, from Abi Ayyub al-Khazzaz that Abu Abdillah al-Sadiq (as) said
"I have experienced [having] both light-skinned and dark-skinned maidservants, and there was a difference between them." (Allama al-Majlisi says: It means both of them have a preference)
5- أَحْمَدُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْخَزَّازِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنِّي جَرَّبْتُ جَوَارِيَ بَيْضَاءَ وَأَدْمَاءَ فَكَانَ بَيْنَهُنَّ بَوْنٌ.

Hadith.5037 - Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Yahya narrated from Muhammad bin Al-Husayn in a marfu' report, who said
Regarding the prescribed punishment (hadd) in travel, in which if one commits adultery, he is not stoned if he is married, it was said: "If he shortens the prayer and breaks his fast, then he is not considered married (muhsan)."
5037 - وَ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ
فِي اَلْحَدِّ فِي اَلسَّفَرِ اَلَّذِي إِذَا زَنَى لَمْ يُرْجَمْ إِذَا كَانَ مُحْصَناً قَالَ "إِذَا قَصَّرَ وَ أَفْطَرَ فَلَيْسَ بِمُحْصَنٍ".

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who cheats us is not of our people.’”
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ غَشَّنَا.
