3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hanan ibn Sadir from his father who has said the following
“Ali ibn al-Husayn, ‘Alayhim al-Salam, loved to see a man who liked (worked with) dates because of the love of the Messenger for Allah for dates.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَنَانِ بْنِ سَدِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَرَى الرَّجُلَ تَمْرِيّاً لِحُبِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) التَّمْرَ .

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘If one eats a pomegranate before breakfast his heart remains bright for forty days.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ رُمَّانَةً عَلَى الرِّيقِ أَنَارَتْ قَلْبَهُ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً .

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah (saww) has said, ‘The best of the women of my followers are those who have a beautiful face and the least amount of Mahr (dowry).’”
4- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) أَفْضَلُ نِسَاءِ أُمَّتِي أَصْبَحُهُنَّ وَجْهاً وَأَقَلُّهُنَّ مَهْراً.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hur ibn ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu Ja’far (a.s.), if I can marry the filthy (prostitute). He (the Imam) said, ’No, you cannot do so/”
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْخَبِيثَةِ أَتَزَوَّجُهَا قَالَ لا.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah (saww) did not marry a second wife in Khadijah’s lifetime.’”

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Jamil from Zurarah who has said the following
“I once asked one of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah) (a.s.), about the case of a man who divorces his wife in a Hayd (menses)-free period in one place and time three times. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is one.’”

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who has married a woman and has gone to bed with her. He (the Imam) said, ‘When the two organs meet mahr (dower) become obligatory.’”

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from al-Qasim ibn ‘Urwah from abu al-‘Abbas who has said that
Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) has said the following: “Whoever enjoys a virtuous deed and is disgusted with a sin is a believer.”

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مَنْ سَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ وَسَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ‏.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one who is in the state of Ihram takes Ghusl (bath) due to sexual relation (because of which Ghusl (bath) is obligatory), he can pour water over his head and separate the hairs from each other with his fingers.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَيُمَيِّزُ الشَّعْرَ بِأَنَامِلِهِ بَعْضَهُ مِنْ بَعْضٍ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following
“This is about a man who in the state of Ihram hunts a bird. He (the Imam) said, ‘He owes expiation for whatever he kills.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) فِي الْمُحْرِمِ يَصِيدُ الطَّيْرَ قَالَ
عَلَيْهِ الْكَفَّارَةُ فِي كُلِّ مَا أَصَابَ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), commanded us to take Ghusl (bath) from Fakhkh before entering Makkah.”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
أَمَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) أَنْ نَغْتَسِلَ مِنْ فَخٍّ قَبْلَ أَنْ نَدْخُلَ مَكَّةَ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy who has said the following
“About a man who performs Tawaf around the House [but cuts it short], abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’He must do Qada’ (compensatory fast) of what he has cut short of his Tawaf.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) فِي الرَّجُلِ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَاخْتَصَرَ قَالَ
يَقْضِي مَا اخْتَصَرَ مِنْ طَوَافِهِ.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about a man who comes to Masjid al-Haram with the intention to commence al-Hajj, if he can perform Tawaf around the House. He (the Imam) said, ’Yes, as long as he has not assumed the state of Ihram.’”
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ وَقَدْ أَزْمَعَ بِالْحَجِّ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ قَالَ نَعَمْ مَا لَمْ يُحْرِمْ.

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘One whose task is adjudication he must not take his seat to adjudicate when angry.’”
2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ بِالْقَضَاءِ فَلا يَقْضِي وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Fight (for the cause of Allah) and leave glory as your legacy for your children.’”

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It was revealed as “If you marry them [for an appointed time] for al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) you must pay their dowries.” (4:24)’”
3- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّمَا نَزَلَتْ فَمَا اسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْهُنَّ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فَ‏آتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً.

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about how many are lawful for al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage). He (the Imam) said, ‘Their case is similar to slave-girls.’”
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قُلْتُ كَمْ تَحِلُّ مِنَ الْمُتْعَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ هُنَّ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الإمَاءِ.

2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) إِنَّمَا الْمَرْأَةُ لُعْبَةٌ مَنِ اتَّخَذَهَا فَلا يُضَيِّعْهَا.

“I saw abu al-Hassan (a.s.), when making wudu (washing his hands) before food did not wipe his hands with a towel, but he wiped them when he (the Imam) made wudu after food.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘All Benevolent Assistance is charity.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ.
