hadith 1101
20. Al-Husayn b. Muhammad from Mu'alla b. Muhammad from Al-Washaa from Muthanna from Abdullah b. Ajlan from Abu Ja'far (al-Baqir) (as) regarding His saying: «Indeed, the closest people to Ibrahim are those who followed him, and this prophet and those who believed» (3:67). He said
"They are the Imams and their followers."
20ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَجْلانَ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْراهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا﴾ قَالَ
هُمُ الائِمَّةُ (عَلَيْهم السَّلام) وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَهُمْ.

7. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad al-Asha‘ari from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from al-Muthanna from Zurara from ‘Abdallah ibn al-‘Ajlan from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the most High. “(Muhammad), say, “
I do not ask you for any payment for my preaching to you except (your) love of(my near) relatives.. .” (42:23). The Imam (a.s.) said, “They (the relatives) are the Imams.”
7ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الاشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَجْلانَ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى قُلْ لا أَسْئَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْراً إِلا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبى‏ قَالَ
هُمُ الائِمَّةُ (عَلَيْهم السَّلام )

29. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Muthanna al-Hannat from ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Ajlan from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious. “Believers, submit yourselves to the will of God as a whole. Do not follow the footsteps of Satan; he is your sworn enemy. (2:208) The Imam (a.s.) said
“It means submit yourselves to our Leadership with Divine Authority.”
29ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَجْلانَ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً وَلا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُواتِ الشَّيْطانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ قَالَ
فِي وَلايَتِنَا.

15. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Muthanna from ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Ajlan from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most High. “Do you think that God will not make any distinction between those of you who have fought for His cause and have relied on no one other than God, His Messenger, and the faithful ones, and other people?. .” (9:16) The Imam (a.s.) said
“The word ‘faithful’ stands for Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.) and the Imams who have not relied on any one besides Allah, the Messenger of Allah and the faithful ones.”
15ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ مُثَنًّى عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَجْلانَ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَنْ
تُتْرَكُوا وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ الله الَّذِينَ جاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذُوا مِنْ دُونِ الله وَلا رَسُولِهِ وَلا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلِيجَةً يَعْنِي بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ الائِمَّةَ (عليهم السلم) لَمْ يَتَّخِذُوا الْوَلائِجَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ.

hadith 541
1. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from ’Abdallah ibn ‘Ajlan from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) who has said the following
about the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High. “Ask the people of Dhikr if you do not know.” (16:43, 21: 7 Holy Quran). The Holy Prophet (s.a.) has said, ‘I am the Dhikr and the Imams are the people of Dhikr.’” About the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High that says, “It is a Dhikr for you and for your people and you all will be asked questions.’ (43:44) The Imams (a.s.) said, “We are his people and we will be questioned.”(It seems that both the Holy Prophet (s.a.) is called Dhikr and the Holy Quran is also called Dhikr although the above passage seems confusing).
1ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَجْلانَ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَسْئَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَ قَالَ
رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) الذِّكْرُ أَنَا وَالائِمَّةُ أَهْلُ الذِّكْرِ وَقَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْئَلُونَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) نَحْنُ قَوْمُهُ وَنَحْنُ الْمَسْئُولُونَ.

hadith 43
43. Muhammad ibn 'Ajlan reported: I was with my master Abu 'Abd Allah (a.s) when a man complained to him (of a need). 'Be patient,' he (a.s) told him, 'for Allah will give you relief.' Then he (al-Sadiq (a.s)) remained silent for a while. Then he turned towards the man and said, 'Tell me about the prison of Al-Kufah, how is it?' 'May Allah protect you,' the man replied, 'It is confining in space, putrid in smell and its inmates are in the worst of conditions.' 'But you are in a prison too,' retorted Abu 'Abd Allah (a.s), 'Do you expect to be at ease? Do you not know that the world is a prison for the believer?'
43 - عن محمد بن عجلان قال
كنت عند سيدي أبي عبد الله (ع): فشكى اليه رجل الحاجة، فقال: إصبر فإنّ الله (جلّ جلاله) يجعل لك فرجاً. ثم سكت ساعة، ثم أقبل على الرجل فقال: أخبرني عن سجن الكوفة كيف هو؟ قال: أصلحك الله ضيق منتن وأهله بأسوء حالة. فقال (ع): إنما أنتَ في السجن، تريد أن تكون في سعة. أما علمت أن الدنيا سجن المؤمن؟
