My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: Sa`d b. `Abdullah narrated to us from Salama b. al-Khattab al-Barawastani from Muhammad b. al-Layth from Jabir b. Isma`il from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father (as). A man asked `Ali b. Abi Talib (as) about night prayers (qiyam al-layl) with the Quran. So, he said
