10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il ibn Bazi‘ from Muhammad ibn al- Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the maintenance of a pregnant widow is paid from the assets of the child in her womb.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ الْكِنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الْمَرْأَةُ الْحُبْلَى الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا يُنْفَقُ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ مَالِ وَلَدِهَا الَّذِي فِي بَطْنِهَا .

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ and al-Husayn ibn Muhammad from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida (a.s.), once said to me, ‘In the first two Rak‘at it is performing again and confusion in the second two Rak‘at (has remedies).”’
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ قَالَ
قَالَ لِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) الإِعَادَةُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأوَّلَتَيْنِ وَالسَّهْوُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأخِيرَتَيْنِ.

عن محمّد بن عليّ ماجيلويه- رضي اللّه عنه- عن عليّ بن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن أبيه، عن محمّد بن أبي عمير؛ و الحسن بن‌ محبوب جميعا عن محمّد بن النعمان‌.

hadith 673
22. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Bunan ibn Muhammad from his brother Ibrahim ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma‘il who has said the following
“I once sent a certain amount of dirham that belonged to me and someone else to abu al-Hassan, al- Rida’ (a.s.), and wrote to inform him that it is of al-Fitrah of the family. He (the Imam) wrote with his hand writing, ‘I received and accepted.’”
22ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ بُنَانِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ
بَعَثْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) بِدَرَاهِمَ لِي وَلِغَيْرِي وَكَتَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ أُخْبِرُهُ أَنَّهَا مِنْ فِطْرَةِ الْعِيَالِ فَكَتَبَ بِخَطِّهِ قَبَضْتُ وَقَبِلْتُ.

“He, who joins to an imam, whose imamate is from Allah, another imam, whose imamate is not from Allah, is a polytheist.”

4. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) said, “By Allah, Qaim of the progeny of Muhammad will kill the progeny of the killers of Imam Husain (a.s.) for the crime of their ancestors.”

13. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ja’far ibn Muhammad from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Kufiy from Al-Husayn ibn Zayd who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘You should exchange gifts of berries; it revives affection and friendship.’”
13- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْكُوفِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

3. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn ‘Abd Allah who has said the following
“Al-Rida’ (a.s.), once said to me, ‘If you want to marry, marry a woman of large buttocks.’”
3- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad al-Husayn from Ali ibn al-Hakam from fro al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘Testimony by women is not admissible in the case of seeing the crescent.’”

لا تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْهِلالِ.

9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), as to with how many people I can share my al-Hajj. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can share with whatever number of people you want.’”

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) كَمْ أُشْرِكُ فِي حَجَّتِي قَالَ كَمْ شِئْتَ.

9. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ishaq ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Daryab who has said the following.
“I went to see abu al-Hassan (a.s.) after the death of abu Ja‘far and offered condolences for this reason. Abu Muhammad (a.s.) was also present. He wept and abu al-Hassan (a.s.) turned to him and said, “Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, has made you to succeed (the Imam) instead of him. You must thanks Allah.”
9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ دَرْيَابَ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) بَعْدَ مُضِيِّ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ فَعَزَّيْتُهُ عَنْهُ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) جَالِسٌ فَبَكَى أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنَّ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَدْ جَعَلَ فِيكَ خَلَفاً مِنْهُ فَاحْمَدِ الله.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad and Abu Ali al-Ash’ari from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from al-Hajjal from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah and Ghalib ibn ‘Uthman from those whom he has mentioned (in his book) from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“In the evening say, ‘O Lord, I ask You in the approaching of Your night and retreating of Your day, in the presence of Your blessings, among the voices of prayer to You to grant al-Salat (favors) upon Muhammad and Ale (family of) Muhammad,’ then pray for whatever you wish.’”
7ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ وَغَالِبِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِذَا أَمْسَيْتَ قُلِ اللهمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِنْدَ إِقْبَالِ لَيْلِكَ وَإِدْبَارِ نَهَارِكَ وَحُضُورِ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَأَصْوَاتِ دُعَائِكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَادْعُ بِمَا أَحْبَبْتَ.

22. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from ibn Bukayr who has said the following
“Once we were with abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and he (the Imam) fed us food then we stopped eating and said, ‘All praise belongs to Allah.’ Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), then said, ‘O Lord, this is from You and from Muhammad, Your messenger, O Lord, all praise belongs to you, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ
كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَأَطْعَمَنَا ثُمَّ رَفَعْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا فَقُلْنَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) اللَّهُمَّ هَذَا مِنْكَ وَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ .

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a pregnant widow if she has the right for maintenance. He (the Imam) said, ’No, she does not have such right.’”
وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ وَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْعَاقُولِيِّ عَنْ كَرَّامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام )
مِثْلَهُ .مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ الْكِنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي الْمَرْأَةِ الْحَامِلِ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا هَلْ لَهَا نَفَقَةٌ قَالَ لَا .

(9) Muhammad bin Ya’qoob narrated from Muhammad bin Yahya from Ahmad bin Muhammad from Muhammad bin Issma’eel from Mansoor bin Younus that Muhammad bin Muslim had said
I said to Abu Abdullah as-Sadiq (as) that someone had said to me: “Know the last one of the imams and it does not harm you if you have not known the first one of them.” Imam as-Sadiq (as) said: “May Allah damn him! I hate him although I do not know him. Has the last one of them been known except by knowing the first one?”
9 - حدثنا محمد بن يعقوب، عن محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن محمد بن إسماعيل، عن منصور بن يونس، عن محمد بن مسلم قال
قلت لأبي عبد الله: رجل قال لي: إعرف الآخرَ من الأئمة ولا يضرك ألاّ تعرف الأول، (قال) فقال: لعنَ الله هذا، فإني أبغضُه ولا أعرفه، وهل عُرف الآخرُ إلاّ بالأول.

Muhammad b. `Ali Majiluwayh (rh) narrated to us. He said: My uncle Muhammad b. Abi’l Qasim narrated to me. He said: Muhammad b. `Ali al-Kufi al-Qurashi narrated to me. He said: Muhammad b. Sinan narrated to me from al-Mufaddal b. `Umar from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as). He said
Whoever fasts three days at the end of Sha`ban and connects it with the month of Ramadan, Allah shall record the fasting of two consecutive months for him.
12 - حدثنا محمد بن علي ماجيلويه (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثني عمي محمد بن أبي القاسم، قال: حدثني محمد بن علي الكوفي القرشي، قال: حدثني محمد بن سنان، عن المفضل بن عمر، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام)، قال
من صام ثلاثة أيام من آخر شعبان ووصلها بشهر رمضان، كتب الله له صوم شهرين متتابعين (1).

1. We were told by my father, may Allah grant him mercy, that he said: We were told by Muhammed bin Yahya, from Muhammed bin Ahmad, from Ahmad ibn Hilal, Muhammed bin Sinan, from Muhammed bin Abdullah bin Ribat, from Muhammed bin Nu’man, the half-blinded, from Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, with regards to the saying of Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He: «Then, when he reached maturity [1] and became even , We brought to him rulership and knowledge.» (12:22) He said
Maturity is eighteen years, and when he became even, he began to grow a beard.
حدثنا أبي - رحمه الله - قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى، عن محمد بن أحمد، عن أحمد ابن هلال، عن محمد بن سنان، عن محمد بن عبد الله بن رباط، عن محمد بن النعمان الأحول، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام في قول الله عز وجل: " ولما بلغ أشده واستوى آتيناه حكما و علما " قال
أشده ثمان عشر سنة، واستوى: التحى.

Someone who heard from Abu Abdillah Ja’far ibn Muhammad (as) reported to me that he said: "One who acts without any understanding and vision, is like a person walking behind a mirage on a levelled desert, the faster he runs the farthest he ends up.
11 - قال: أخبرني أبو الحسن أحمد بن محمد الحسن، عن أبيه، عن محمد بن الحسن الصفار، عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى، عن محمد بن سنان، عن موسى بن بكر قال: حدثني من
سمع أبا عبد الله جعفر بن محمد عليهما السلام يقول: العامل على غير بصيرة كالسائر على سراب بقيعة لا تزيده سرعة سيره إلا بعدا.
