17. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from abu Hamza al-Thumali who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Whoever among the believers exercises patience at the time of suffering hardship he will have a reward equal to the reward of a thousand martyrs.’”
17ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ سَيْفِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِبَلاءٍ فَصَبَرَ عَلَيْهِ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ أَلْفِ شَهِيدٍ.

4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from abu Hamza from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah who has said the following
“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘The most evil among people on the Day of Judgment will be one whom people respect for fear of his evil manners’”
4ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) شَرُّ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُكْرَمُونَ اتِّقَاءَ شَرِّهِمْ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from al-Muthanna’ ibn al-Walid from Zurarah from who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah said seventy Salah (prayers) for Hamzah.’”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُثَنَّى بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
صَلَّى رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) عَلَى حَمْزَةَ سَبْعِينَ صَلاَةً.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, gave permission to camel attending people to come during the night and throw pebbles.”’
محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن علي بن الحكم، عن علي بن أبي حمزة، عن أبي بصير قال
قال أبوعبدالله عليه السلام: رخص رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله لرعاة الابل إذا جاؤوا بالليل أن يرموا.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘I went to throw pebbles but there were only six pebbles in my hand.’ He (the Imam) said, ’Take one from under your feet.’”

قلت لابي عبدالله عليه السلام: ذهبت أرمي فإذا في يدي ست حصيات فقال: خذ واحدة من تحت رجلك.

9. Through the same chain of narrators it is narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamza from abu Basir who has said that
I asked Imam abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the Imams whether in the matters of the obligation of obedience to them they are all the same or not. The Imam (a.s.) replied, “Yes, they are all the same.”
9ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الائِمَّةِ هَلْ يَجْرُونَ فِي الامْرِ وَالطَّاعَةِ مَجْرَى وَاحِدٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

hadith 224
Hadith.1795 - It is narrated by al-Hasan ibn Mahbub from al-Hasan ibn Abi Hamzah, who said
"I said to Abu Ja‘far or Abu Abdullah (as): 'Can I delay fasting the three days of the month in the summer until the winter, as I find it easier for me then?' Imam (as) said: 'Yes, but make sure to observe it.'"
1795 - وَ رَوَى اَلْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ أَوْ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ صَوْمُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي اَلشَّهْرِ أُؤَخِّرُهُ فِي اَلصَّيْفِ إِلَى اَلشِّتَاءِ فَإِنِّي أَجِدُهُ أَهْوَنَ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ فَاحْفَظْهَا ».

1. It is narrated from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman from Hamza ibn al-Tayyar from Imam abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following.
“There is no expansion or reduction but that Allah therein has a wish, decree and testing.”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّيَّارِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَا مِنْ قَبْضٍ وَلا بَسْطٍ إِلا وَلله فِيهِ مَشِيئَةٌ وَقَضَاءٌ وَابْتِلاءٌ.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus ibn ‘Abd al- Rahman from ibn Bukayr from Hamza ibn Muhammad from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), the following: “Once
I asked the Imam (a.s.), about the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, ‘Have We not shown him the ways of ‘al-Najdayn’ ?’ (90:10) The Imam said, ‘al-Najdayn’ means the ways of good and evil.’”

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهَدَيْناهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ قَالَ نَجْدَ الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam and Muhammad ibn Sinan from, Ali ibn abu Hamza from abu Basir who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Do not be a spy against people; you will remain without friends.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) لا تُفَتِّشِ النَّاسَ فَتَبْقَى بِلا صَدِيقٍ.

1. Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Salih ibn abu Hammad from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah from Safwan from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about ‘Aqiqah for one who is affluent and one who is poor. He (the Imam) said, ’It is not necessary for one who cannot find anything.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ عَلَى الْمُوسِرِ وَ الْمُعْسِرِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَى مَنْ لَا يَجِدُ شَيْ‏ءٌ .

hadith 575
Hadith.5545 - Ibn Abi Umayr narrated from Muhammad ibn Abi Hamzah and Husayn ibn Uthman from Ishaq ibn Ammar from Abu Abdullah (as), regarding a man who died, and some of his heirs acknowledged a debt owed by the deceased to another man. Imam (as) said
"That acknowledgment is binding upon the share of the one who made the acknowledgment."
5545 - وَ رَوَى اِبْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ وَ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ فَأَقَرَّ بَعْضُ وَرَثَتِهِ لِرَجُلٍ بِدَيْنٍ فَقَالَ "يَلْزَمُهُ ذَلِكَ فِي حِصَّتِهِ".

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Muhammad ibn abu Hamzah and others who has said the following
“About the case of a flat roof without fencing wall around it abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If the height of the fencing wall around a flat roof is two yards (Zira’ arm-length) it is sufficient.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ وَ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي السَّطْحِ يُبَاتُ عَلَيْهِ وَ هُوَ غَيْرُ مُحَجَّرٍ قَالَ
يُجْزِيهِ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِقْدَارُ ارْتِفَاعِ الْحَائِطِ ذِرَاعَيْنِ .
hadith 1544
Hadith.3108 - Hamzah ibn Humran asked Abu Abdullah (as) about the one who says, "Release me where You have prevented me." Imam (as) replied: "He is released where Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, has prevented him." Then Imam (as) added: "Doesn't he say that? However, making this condition does not exempt him from performing Hajj the following year."
3108 - وَ سَأَلَ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ حُمْرَانَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : عَنِ اَلَّذِي يَقُولُ حُلَّنِي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي فَقَالَ
«هُوَ حِلٌّ حَيْثُ حَبَسَهُ اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ قَالَ أَ وَ لَمْ يَقُلْ وَ لاَ يُسْقِطُ اَلاِشْتِرَاطُ عَنْهُ اَلْحَجَّ مِنْ قَابِلٍ ».

Hadith.3269 - Ali ibn Abi Hamzah said: I asked Abu al-Hasan (as) about a Jewish or Christian man who had a debt of four thousand dirhams with me, and he died. I asked: "Is it lawful for me to settle with his heirs without informing them of the exact amount?" Imam (as) said: "It is not permissible until you inform them."
3269 - وَ رَوَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ رَجُلٌ يَهُودِيٌّ أَوْ نَصْرَانِيٌّ كَانَتْ لَهُ عِنْدِي أَرْبَعَةُ آلاَفِ دِرْهَمٍ فَمَاتَ أَ لِي أَنْ أُصَالِحَ وَرَثَتَهُ وَ لاَ أُعْلِمَهُمْ كَمْ كَانَ قَالَ "لاَ يَجُوزُ حَتَّى تُخْبِرَهُمْ".

Hadith.2936 - Ali ibn Abi Hamzah narrated from Imam (as) that
he said: "Whoever has the means to perform Hajj but keeps postponing it without any valid excuse that Allah (swt) would accept, and death overtakes him, has neglected a fundamental law of Islam."
2936 - وَ رَوَى عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْهُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ : «مَنْ قَدَرَ عَلَى مَا يَحُجُّ بِهِ وَ جَعَلَ يَدْفَعُ ذَلِكَ وَ لَيْسَ لَهُ عَنْهُ شُغُلٌ يَعْذِرُهُ اَللَّهُ فِيهِ حَتَّى جَاءَ اَلْمَوْتُ فَقَدْ ضَيَّعَ شَرِيعَةً مِنْ شَرَائِعِ اَلْإِسْلاَمِ.

Hadith.681 - Abu Hamza al-Thumali narrated from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that
He said: "Whoever performs an obligatory prayer in the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), Allah (swt) accepts it as equivalent to every prayer they have performed since the day prayer became obligatory upon them, and every prayer they will perform until they die."
681 - وَ رَوَى أَبُو حَمْزَةَ اَلثُّمَالِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ - «مَنْ صَلَّى فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ اَلْحَرَامِ صَلاَةً مَكْتُوبَةً قَبِلَ اَللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْهُ كُلَّ صَلاَةٍ صَلاَّهَا مُنْذُ يَوْمَ وَجَبَتْ عَلَيْهِ اَلصَّلاَةُ وَ كُلَّ صَلاَةٍ يُصَلِّيهَا إِلَى أَنْ يَمُوتَ».

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mansur ibn Yunus from abu Hamzah who has said the following
“Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.), has said, the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Three things work as means of salvation for a person and he described moderation, in both poverty and financial well-being, to be one of such means.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِما السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) ثَلاثٌ مُنْجِيَاتٌ فَذَكَرَ الثَّالِثُ الْقَصْدُ فِي الْغِنَى وَالْفَقْرِ.

17. Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya al-`Attar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Sahl ibn Ziyad al-Adami, on the authority of Hamzah ibn Muhammad that
I wrote to Abu al-Hasan al-Kadhim (AS) asking him whether Allah had a body or an image. Hence he (AS) wrote in reply: “Glory be to Him who has nothing whatsoever like unto Him,”
17 - حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن يحيى العطار رضي الله عنه، عن أبيه، عن سهل ابن زياد الآدمي، عن حمزة بن محمد، قال
كتبت إلى أبي الحسن عليه السلام أسأله عن الجسم والصورة، فكتب: سبحان من ليس كمثله شئ.
