He has lied the one who claims that Allah Mighty and Majestic is from a thing, or in a thing, or upon a thing.

I heard Abu al-Hasan al-Kadhim (AS) reply: “The Needless is He who has no interior.”

Allah Blessed and Elevated is One, Compact, He does not have any hollowness, while the spirit is a creation from among His creations and is an aid, support and power which Allah places in the hearts of the messengers and believers.

“Verily, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, is the Alone, the Needless, without an interior. Verily, the Spirit is a creation from His Creations. It is a helper, aid, and a source of strength. Allah places it is in the hearts of the messengers and the Believers.”

“'Every stubborn tyrant' (14:15) are those who refuse to say 'There is no god but Allah.'”

God will construct a house in Paradise for whoever repeats ‘There is no god but God’ one-hundred times when he lays down in his bed. The sins of whoever asks for God’s forgiveness one-hundred times when he lays down in his bed would fall off from him as the leaves fall off from a tree.”

Verily, there was a group of people before you cast aside the knowledge they were granted, and sought knowledge that was not granted to them. Hence, they did not stop questioning until they asked about what was above Heaven. As a result, they went astray. Among them was a man who, when called from the front, would answer from behind, and when was called from behind he would answer from the front.

`Imran ibn Abu `Ata’ said: `Ata’ related on the authority of Ibn `Abbas that the Prophet (sw) said: There is no statement more loved to Allah, the Mighty and High, than `There is no god but Allah.’ There is not a single servant (of Allah) who pronounces these words but that his sins are dispersed under his feet like the leaves of a tree are scattered beneath it.

I said to Abi Abdillah عليه السلام: One of our companions claims that Allah has a form like that of a human and another says that He is in the form of a beardless youth with very curly hair! Abu Abdillah عليه السلام fell down in prostration then he raised his head and said: Glory be to Allah whom there is nothing like Him. Vision cannot reach Him. Knowledge cannot encompass Him. He does not give birth for an off-spring resembles his parent. He was not born so that He could resemble one who came before Him. He will never have among His creatures any rival. Elevated is He from the description of the one who equates Him - a great elevation.

"Verily, Allah, the Mighty and High created a creation from His own Light and a mercy from His Mercy. Hence, they are the Eye through which Allah sees, the Ear through which Allah listens, and the Tongue through which Allah speaks His Will. They are the Guardians of His Revelation which He sends down as a mercy, a warning and a proof. Hence, He wipes out their sins, removes injustice from them, sends down mercy from them, gives life to the deceased from them, kills the living for them, tries His Creation through them, and fulfils the needs of His Creation through them." I asked, “May I be sacrificed for you! Who are these?” He said: “The successors (of Muhammad).”
