hadith 1348

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ and al-Husayn ibn Muhammad from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ who has said the following

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida (a.s.), once said to me, ‘In the first two Rak‘at it is performing again and confusion in the second two Rak‘at (has remedies).”’

4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ قَالَ

قَالَ لِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) الإِعَادَةُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأوَّلَتَيْنِ وَالسَّهْوُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأخِيرَتَيْنِ.

24. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan ibn Ali from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar al-Sabatiy who has said the following

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Salah (prayer) is not performed in a house where wine and intoxicating items exist.’”

24ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ السَّابَاطِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ

لاَ يُصَلَّى فِي بَيْتٍ فِيهِ خَمْرٌ أَوْ مُسْكِرٌ.

2. [2/-] al-Kafi: Muhammad b. Yahya from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa from Hammad b. Isa from Hariz from Zurara and Muhammad b. Muslim and Burayd al-Ijli they said

Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said to Humran b. A’yan in regards a matter he had asked him about: the people are destroyed because they do not ask questions.

قال أبوعبدالله عليه السلام لحمران بن أعين في شئ سأله: إنما يهلك الناس لانهم لا يسألون

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from Ibrahim ibn Talhah ibn Zayd from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.), who said

"The Messenger of Allah (sw) liked to drink with Syrian bowls and said, ‘It is the cleanest of your utensils.’"

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يَشْرَبَ فِي الْإِنَاءِ الشَّامِيِّ وَ كَانَ يَقُولُ هُوَ أَنْظَفُ آنِيَتِكُمْ .

hadith 1894

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Ali ibn abu Hamzah who has said the following

“Abu al-Hassan ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘When you buy your offering animal, measure its price and it becomes as part of your luggage, the offering now has reached its destination, and if you like you can shave your head.’”

4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ

إِذَا اشْتَرَيْتَ أُضْحِيَّتَكَ وَوَزَنْتَ ثَمَنَهَا وَصَارَتْ فِي رَحْلِكَ فَقَدْ بَلَغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ فَإِنْ أَحْبَبْتَ أَنْ تَحْلِقَ فَاحْلِقْ.

hadith 1977

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar who has said the following

“I once asked abu Ibrahim (a.s.), ‘When we enter Makkah or al-Madinah, should we perform Salat (prayer) in complete or reduced form?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘If you perform in reduced form it is what it is; and if you perform in complete form it, then is an increasing good.’”

6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ عَنْ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ

قُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّا إِذَا دَخَلْنَا مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةَ نُتِمُّ أَوْ نَقْصُرُ قَالَ إِنْ قَصَرْتَ فَذَاكَ وَإِنْ أَتْمَمْتَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ يَزْدَادُ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from al-Mufaddal ibn Salih from Layth al-Muradiy who has said the following

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Why Masjid of al-Fadikh is called Masjid of al- Fadikh?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘It is because of a palm tree that was called al-Fadikh and for this reason it is called Masjid of al-Fadikh.’”

4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ الْمُرَادِيِّ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنْ مَسْجِدِ الْفَضِيخِ لِمَ سُمِّيَ مَسْجِدَ الْفَضِيخِ فَقَالَ لِنَخْلٍ يُسَمَّى الْفَضِيخَ فَلِذَلِكَ سُمِّيَ مَسْجِدَ الْفَضِيخِ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu Najran from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘If one is murdered over his stolen property he is a martyr.’”

1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَظْلِمَتِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from Dawud al-Riqqiy who has said the following

“I heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Believers must not humiliate themselves.’ It was asked, ‘How can one humiliate himself?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘This happens when he does things that are not bearable.’”

4- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ الرَّقِّيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ لا يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَنْ يُذِلَّ نَفْسَهُ قِيلَ لَهُ وَكَيْفَ يُذِلُّ نَفْسَهُ قَالَ يَتَعَرَّضُ لِمَا لا يُطِيقُ.

11. Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bandar has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Musa ibn al-Qasim from Yahya ibn Musawir who has said the following

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, sawiq removes bitterness (bile) and phlegm from the stomach and dispels seventy kinds of illness.’”

عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُنْدَارَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ

السَّوِيقُ يَجْرُدُ الْمِرَّةَ وَ الْبَلْغَمَ مِنَ الْمَعِدَةِ جَرْداً وَ يَدْفَعُ سَبْعِينَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ .

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Mahbub from Nadr from ‘Anbasah Sa‘id in a marfu‘ manner has said the following

“The Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘Combing of the head very often removes al-Waba’ (fever), attracts sustenance and increases one’s ability to go to bed with one’s wife.’”

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ نَضْرِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ

كَثْرَةُ تَسْرِيحِ الرَّأْسِ تَذْهَبُ بِالْوَبَاءِ وَ تَجْلِبُ الرِّزْقَ وَ تَزِيدُ فِي الْجِمَاعِ .

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il ibn Bazi‘ from Muhammad ibn al- Fudayl from abu al-Sabbah al-Kinaniy who has said the following

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the maintenance of a pregnant widow is paid from the assets of the child in her womb.’”

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ الْكِنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ

الْمَرْأَةُ الْحُبْلَى الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا يُنْفَقُ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ مَالِ وَلَدِهَا الَّذِي فِي بَطْنِهَا .

11. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar and al-Razzaz from Ayyub ibn Nuh from Safwan ibn Yahya from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following

“I once asked abu Ibrahim (a.s.), about the case of a man who forms al-Zihar about his slave-girl. He (the Imam) said, ‘Free and slaves are the same in al-Zihar.’”

أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ وَ الرَّزَّازُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ نُوحٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلُ يُظَاهِرُ مِنْ جَارِيَتِهِ فَقَالَ الْحُرَّةُ وَ الْأَمَةُ فِي ذَلِكَ سَوَاءٌ .

26. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan from “Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar ibn Musa who has said the following

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about al-Zihar (calling one’s wife as one’s mother) which brings about the obligation. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is exactly that whereby a man wants al- Zihar.’”

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الظِّهَارِ الْوَاجِبِ قَالَ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ بِهِ الرَّجُلُ الظِّهَارَ بِعَيْنِهِ .

1. Muhammad b. Yahya from from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Isa from Ali b. al-Hakam from Dawud b. al-Nu’man from Mansur b. Hazim from Abu Abdillah (as) who said

“Whoever discriminates or supports discrimination, he has taken off the collar of belief from his neck.”

1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

مَنْ تَعَصَّبَ أَوْ تُعُصِّبَ لَهُ فَقَدْ خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الإيمَانِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ.

11. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Mansur from Hisham ibn Salim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following

“The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Be afraid of doing injustice; on the Day of Judgment there will be much darkness.’”

11ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) اتَّقُوا الظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّهُ ظُلُمَاتُ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.

8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Hajjal from Dawud ibn abu Yazid from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘A believer is not appreciated.’ It is narrated in another Hadith : ‘This is because the virtues of a believer are taken to Allah, thus, they do not spread among the people and an unbeliever is appreciated.’”

8ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

الْمُؤْمِنُ مُكَفَّرٌ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ أُخْرَى وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ مَعْرُوفَهُ يَصْعَدُ إِلَى الله فَلا يُنْشَرُ فِي النَّاسِ وَالْكَافِرُ مَشْكُورٌ.

2. Ahmad ibn Khalid and Muhammad ibn Yahya have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa all from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Hisham ibn Salim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following

“When you love a man, tell him about it; it strengthens your love for one another.”

2ـ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى جَمِيعاً عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

إِذَا أَحْبَبْتَ رَجُلاً فَأَخْبِرْهُ بِذَلِكَ فَإِنَّهُ أَثْبَتُ لِلْمَوَدَّةِ بَيْنَكُمَا.

8. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Yahya ibn al- Mubarak from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from Mu’awiyah ibn Wahab from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Whoever is granted the ability to be thankful is also granted increase in bounties. Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has said, “. . . if you give thanks, I shall give you greater (favors). .. .’””(14:7)

8ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ جَبَلَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

مَنْ أُعْطِيَ الشُّكْرَ أُعْطِيَ الزِّيَادَةَ يَقُولُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَئِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لأزِيدَنَّكُمْ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Husayn ibn abu al-‘Ala’ from abu ‘Abd Allah recipient of divine supreme covenant who has said the following

“Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has not sent any prophet who would not be truthful in their words and trustworthy in returning the trust without discriminating between virtuous or otherwise people.”

1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَلاءِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ

إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يَبْعَثْ نَبِيّاً إِلا بِصِدْقِ الْحَدِيثِ وَأَدَاءِ الأمَانَةِ إِلَى الْبَرِّ وَالْفَاجِرِ.
