2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ who has said the following
“I once asked al-Rida’ (a.s.), ‘Is visiting the grave of abu al-Hassan (a.s.), like visiting the grave of al-Husayn (a.s.) ?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘Yes, it is so.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) مِثْلُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ نَعَمْ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Sa‘id ibn Junah who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘When a man becomes old he must not neglect eating something during the night; it brings peaceful sleep and nicer breath.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
إِذَا اكْتَهَلَ الرَّجُلُ فَلَا يَدَعُ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ بِاللَّيْلِ شَيْئاً فَإِنَّهُ أَهْدَى لِلنَّوْمِ وَ أَطْيَبُ لِلنَّكْهَةِ .

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ’Isma‘il ibn Sa‘d al-Ash‘ariy who has narrated the following
“I once asked al-Rida’ (a.s.), about the case of a man who swears but his mind is on something other than what he has taken oath for. He (the Imam) said, ‘The oath is for that which is in one’s mind.’”

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ حَلَفَ وَضَمِيرُهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ مَا حَلَفَ قَالَ الْيَمِينُ عَلَى الضَّمِيرِ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Sinan from ‘Abd al-Malik al-Qummiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who takes wudu’ and then wipes his face with a handkerchief that covers all of it. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُمِّيِّ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) الْمُحْرِمُ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثُمَّ يُجَلِّلُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ يُخَمِّرُهُ كُلَّهُ قَالَ لا بَأْسَ.

16. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar ibn Musa who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who is in the state of Ihram and eats citron. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he can eat.’ I then said, ‘It has nice fragrance.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Citron is food and it is not a fragrance.’”
16ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ التُّفَّاحِ وَالأُتْرُجِّ وَالنَّبِقِ وَمَا طَابَ رِيحُهُ قَالَ تُمْسِكُ عَنْ شَمِّهِ وَتَأْكُلُهُ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hajjal from Tha’labah ibn Maymun from Ma‘mar ibn ‘Umar who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about one suffering from illness if one is required to perform one’s Salah (prayer) again which is missed during the time of fainting condition. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, one is not required to perform such Salah (prayer) again.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْمَرِيضِ يَقْضِي الصَّلاَةَ إِذَا أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لاَ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Ghiyath ibn Ibrahim from Ja’far from his father who has narrated the following
“’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), disliked the use of musk by a fasting person.”’
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ غِيَاثِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ (عَلَيْهِما السَّلاَم) أَنَّ
عَلِيّاً صَلَوَاتُ الله عَلَيْهِ كَرِهَ الْمِسْكَ أَنْ يَتَطَيَّبَ بِهِ الصَّائِمُ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who cheats us is not of our people.’”

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from Zurarah who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about a man who is for al-Mufrid al-Hajj after entering Makkah; if he can perform his Tawaf or delay to perform it later. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is the same/”
1ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الْمُفْرِدِ لِلْحَجِّ يَدْخُلُ مَكَّةَ يُقَدِّمُ طَوَافَهُ أَوْ يُؤَخِّرُهُ فَقَالَ سَوَاءٌ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Husayn ibn abu al-‘Ala’ who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘Can a man apply cupping when he is fasting?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, if he is not afraid of weakness.’”

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الْحِجَامَةِ لِلصَّائِمِ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا لَمْ يَخَفْ ضَعْفاً.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Sayf ibn ‘Amirah from abu Bakr al- Hadramiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Animals that are not slaughtered with iron cannot be used for food.’”

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn from Safwan from Ya’qub ibn Shu’ayb who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If inside the walls there are different fruits and certain kinds are ripe, then there is no offense in buying all of it.’”
5- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) إِذَا كَانَ الْحَائِطُ فِيهِ ثِمَارٌ مُخْتَلِفَةٌ فَأَدْرَكَ بَعْضُهَا فَلا بَأْسَ بِبَيْعِهَا جَمِيعاً.

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan from ibn Bukayr from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘It is undesirable to recite two Surah (chapters) together in an obligatory Salah (prayer) but in an optional one it is not harmful.’” (Ahadith 7-11 are best explained in the form of fatwa.)
10ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّمَا يُكْرَهُ أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ السُّورَتَيْنِ فِي الْفَرِيضَةِ فَأَمَّا النَّافِلَةُ فَلاَ بَأْسَ.

8. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one eats a grain of pomegranate it makes the Satan of temptation sick for forty days.’”
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مَنْ أَكَلَ حَبَّةً مِنْ رُمَّانٍ أَمْرَضَتْ شَيْطَانَ الْوَسْوَسَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْماً .

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنْ مَاءِ الْبَحْرِ أَ طَهُورٌ هُوَ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about al-Madhiy. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is only like nasal mucus. They are very similar.’”

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) عَنِ الْمَذْيِ فَقَالَ مَا هُوَ وَالنُّخَامَةُ إِلاَّ سَوَاءٌ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from Hamzah ibn Humran who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Clothes do not cause one to become as one who has experienced sexual relation and one experiencing sexual relation does not affect his clothes.’”
4ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ حُمْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
لاَ يُجْنِبُ الثَّوْبُ الرَّجُلَ وَلاَ يُجْنِبُ الرَّجُلُ الثَّوْبَ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A woman for giving birth waits for the number of days of her Hayd (menses); then she must examine in two days.’”
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
تَقْعُدُ النُّفَسَاءُ أَيَّامَهَا الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَقْعُدُ فِي الْحَيْضِ وَتَسْتَظْهِرُ بِيَوْمَيْنِ.
