Hadith.1418 - Mu'awiya bin Ammar asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) bout the position of Qunoot (supplication) in the Witr prayer. Imam (as) said: "It is done before the bowing (ruku‘)." Mu'awiya then asked: "What if I forget it?" Abu Abdullah (as) replied: "No (do not perform it after lifting your head from bowing)."

"When the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon him and his family) was on a journey, he would glorify Allah (swt) (say 'SubhanAllah (swt)') when descending and magnify Allah (swt) (say 'Allahu Akbar') when ascending."

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘I do not know of any Qunut (supplication after recitation in second Rak‘at) except before Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees).”’

“O Muawiyah! Whoever is granted three things would not be deprived of three things. Whoever is granted ‘the chance to call upon God’ is also granted ‘an answer to his prayers’. Whoever is granted ‘being grateful’ is also granted ‘an increase in favors’. Whoever is granted ‘reliance’ is also granted ‘sufficiency’ as the Honorable the Exalted God says in His Book, ‘…And if anyone puts his trust in God, sufficient is (God) for him…’ and says, ‘… If ye are grateful, I will add more (favors) unto you;…’ ; and says, ‘Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer):…’

Hadith.2968 - In a narration from Mu'awiyah ibn Ammar, Abu Abdullah (as) said: "If you wish to perform Tawaf around the Ka'bah on behalf of one of your brothers, go to the Black Stone and say: 'In the name of Allah (swt), O Allah (swt), accept this from [the name of the person].'"

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Allah, the most Blessed, the most High, has one hundred twenty blessings around al-Ka’bah of which sixty are for those who perform Tawaf, forty for those who perform salat (prayer) and twenty for those who look at al-Ka’bah.’”

"You should say Takbir in the night of al-Fitr and in the morning of al-Fitr, just as you say Takbir during the tenth (day of the month of Dhu al-Hajjah).”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, during his journey, when climbing down would say, ‘Allah is free of all defects’ and when climbing up would say, ‘Allah is great beyond description.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When you are ready to move toward Mina then say, ‘O Lord, before You I place my hopes and before You I appeal, to lead me toward what I hope to achieve and make my deeds useful.’”

“Whoever, after every obligatory prayer says: ‘O the One who does as He wills and does not do as others will,’ three times, and pleads (before Allah) for his wishes they will be granted.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ’How many Tasbih is sufficient in Ruku’ (bowing down on one’s knees) and in Sujud (prostration) in the case of one suffering from illness?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘One Tasbih is sufficient.’”

"If you fear experiencing a state of janabah (ritual impurity) during sleep, say in your bed: 'O’ Allah (swt), I seek refuge with You from experiencing a wet dream, from evil dreams, and from being manipulated by Shaytan (the devil) in wakefulness and in sleep.'"

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘lightning does not affect the speaker (of Allah).’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘Who is a speaker?’ The Imam said, ‘One who reads one hundred verses of the Holy Quran.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah, has said, ‘Offer al-Salawat, next to the grave of the Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, although Salat of believers reach him wherever they may live. (The word al-Salat in this context may mean, ’Perform salat (prayer) as gift for the Holy Prophet,’ or say, ‘O Allah, grant salawat (favors and compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause).”’

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that when you enter al-Haram (the sacred area), take from al-Idhkhir and chew it well.” Al-Kulayniy has said, ‘I asked about it from our people and he replied, “It is preferable to freshen one’s mouth, so that one can kiss the Black Stone without bad breath.’”

“Whoever says, ‘O Lord, O Allah, for one full breath, it is said to him, “Your call is heard and well noticed, ask what kind of help do you need?”’

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), when looking at the crescent of the month of Ramadan would say, “0 Allah, bring it (the month of Ramadan) upon us with peace and submission (to Your will), certainty, belief, virtue and good opportunity for whatever You love and consent with.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘It is thanking then praising, then confession of sins then pleading before Allah for help. By Allah, no servant (of Allah) can come out of sins without confession.’”

“Whoever says, ‘O Lord, grant favors to Muhammad and his family, one hundred times one hundred of his wishes will be granted, thirty of them in this world and the rest in the next life.’”
