hadith 753
2. It is narrated that the
Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, “If three children of a person die before reaching puberty or if three children of a woman pass away from this world, these children will act as a shield in front of the fire of Hell for that person.”
وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِیدِ بْنِ بَهْرَامَ عَنْ شمر [شَهْرِ] بْنِ خوشب [حَوْشَبَ] عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَنْبَسَهَ السُّلَمِیِّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص یَقُولُ أَیُّمَا رَجُلٍ قَدَّمَ ثَلَاثَهَ أَوْلَادٍ لَمْ یَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ أَوِ امْرَأَهٍ قَدَّمَتْ ثَلَاثَهَ أَوْلَادٍ فَهُمْ حُجَّابٌ یَسْتُرُونَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ.

8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘A man is not compelled, but for providing the expenses of his parents and children.’ He (the narrator) has said that Ibn Abi ‘Umayr has said, ‘I asked Jamil about the woman and he said that ‘Anbasah has narrated from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who has said that if one provides clothes for her which is sufficient to maintain her dignity, sufficient food to survive, she then must stay with him, otherwise, she is divorced.’”
8- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ
لا يُجْبَرُ الرَّجُلُ إِلا عَلَى نَفَقَةِ الأبَوَيْنِ وَالْوَلَدِ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ قُلْتُ لِجَمِيلٍ وَالْمَرْأَةُ قَالَ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِذَا كَسَاهَا مَا يُوَارِي عَوْرَتَهَا وَيُطْعِمُهَا مَا يُقِيمُ صُلْبَهَا أَقَامَتْ مَعَهُ وَإِلا طَلَّقَهَا.

31-325 Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Al-Husayn ibn Yusuf al-Baghdadi narrated that Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Anbasat quoted on the authority of Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Al-Abbas ibn Musa ibn Ja’far al-Alawi and Darim ibn Qabaysat an-Nahshali that Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) narrated that he had heard his father (a.s.) quote on the authority of his father (a.s.), on the authority of his grandfather Muhammad ibn Ali (a.s.), on the authority of his father Ali ibn Al-Husayn (a.s.), on the authority of his father (a.s.) and Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyya, on the authority of the Commander of the Faithful Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) that
God’s Prophet (S) said, “The good-doers are called ‘al-Abrar’ since they do good to their fathers, children and brethren.”
325 - حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدِ بْنِ الحُسَيْنِ بْنِ يُوسِفالبَغدْادي قالَ: حَدَّثَنا عَلِىِّ بْنِ عنبسة قالَ: حَدَّثَنا القاسِم بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ العَبَّاسِ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَر العَلَوِي وَدارِم بْنِ قَبيصةٍ النَهشلي قالا: حَدَّثَنا عَلِىِّ بْنِ مُوسَى الرِّضا عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبي يَحْدُثَ عَنْ أَبيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِى عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ الحُسَيْن‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ عَنْ أَبيهِ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الحنفية عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ أَبِي طالِب‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ أَن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ قالَ إِنَّما سموا الأبْرارِ لأنهم بروا الآباء وَالأبناء وَالإخوان.
