9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn Isma’il from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan all from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn al-Hakam who has said the following
“I observed (Imam) Musa (a.s.), offer condolences before and after burial.”
9ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ مُوسَى (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) يُعَزِّي قَبْلَ الدَّفْنِ وَبَعْدَهُ.

6. `Ali ibn Ahmad ibn `Abd Allah ibn Ahmad ibn `Abu `Abd Allah al-Barqi said, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather Ahmad ibn Abu `Abd Allah, on the authority of Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Nasr, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Hukaym that I described the statement of Hisham al-Jawaliqi, and narrated for Musa al-Kadhim (AS) the statement of Hisham ibn al-Hakam that He possesses a body. Hence, he (AS) said
“Verily, nothing resembles Allah. Indecent language is better than words which give the Creator a created body or image composed of parts. Exalted from these, the High, the Great.”
6 - حدثنا علي بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن أبي عبد الله البرقي رضي الله عنه، عن أبيه، عن جده أحمد بن أبي عبد الله، عن أحمد بن محمد بن أبي نصر، عن محمد بن حكيم، قال
وصفت لأبي إبراهيم عليه السلام قول هشام الجواليقي، وحكيت له قول هشام بن الحكم: إنه جسم، فقال: إن الله لا يشبهه شئ، أي فحش أو خناء أعظم من قول من يصف خالق الأشياء بجسم أو صورة أو بخلقة أو بتحديد أو أعضاء؟! تعالى الله عن ذلك علوا كبيرا.

Imam al-Sadiq (AS), in reply to Hisham s question about the meaning of infallible, said, ‘The infallible [Imam] is prevented by Allah from all acts which Allah has prohibited, and Allah, Blessed and most High, says “And whoever takes recourse in Allah is certainly guided to a straight path”
الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) ـ لَمّا سَألَهُ هِشامٌ عَن مَعنَى المَعصومِ ـ: المَعصومُ هُوَ المُمتَنِعُ بِاللّهِ مِن جَميعِ مَحارِمِ اللّهِ ، وقالَ اللّهُ تَبارَكَ وتَعالى: «ومَن يَعتَصِمْ بِاللّهِ فقَد هُدِيَ إلى صِراطٍ مُستَقيمٍ»

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim and Hafs ibn al-Bakhtariy and Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has narrated the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one makes a will about one-third has not left any legacy.’”
6- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ وَحَفْصِ بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ وَحَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ أَوْصَى بِالثُّلُثِ فَلَمْ يَتَّرِكْ.

hadith 901
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“The trial (suffering hardships in life) of the prophets is the most difficult then is that for those next to the prophets in a (spiritual) position and thereafter those similar to the previous group and so forth.”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ بَلاءً الأنْبِيَاءُ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الأمْثَلُ فَالأمْثَلُ.

7. Muhammad and others have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ali ibn ‘Atiyyah from Hisham ibn Ahmar who has said the following
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), would say to Musadif, ‘Proceed toward your honor, meaning thereby place of business, the market place.’”
7- مُحَمَّدٌ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ قَالَ
كَانَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ لِمُصَادِفٍ اغْدُ إِلَى عِزِّكَ يَعْنِي السُّوقَ.

6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from abu Yahya al-Wasiti from Hisham ibn Salim from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following.
“The leadership is with being the elder as long as he is free of defects.”
6ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْوَاسِطِيِّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الامْرَ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مَا لَمْ تَكُنْ فِيهِ عَاهَةٌ.

Hadith.2911 - In a narration from Hisham, from Sulayman ibn Khalid, from Abu Abdullah (as), regarding a woman who wants to perform Hajj but does not have a mahram (close male relative), he (as) was asked
"Is it permissible for her to perform Hajj?" Imam (as) said: "Yes, if she is trustworthy."
2911 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : فِي اَلْمَرْأَةِ تُرِيدُ اَلْحَجَّ وَ لَيْسَ مَعَهَا مَحْرَمٌ هَلْ يَصْلُحُ لَهَا اَلْحَجُّ فَقَالَ
«نَعَمْ إِذَا كَانَتْ مَأْمُونَةً ».

Hadith.2785 - Hisham ibn Salim narrated from Abu Abdullah (as), who said
"There is no harm in delaying the visitation of the Kaaba (Tawaf al-Ziyara) until the days of Tashreeq have passed, except that you must not approach women or use perfume."
2785 - وَ رَوَى هِشَامُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
«لاَ بَأْسَ إِنْ أَخَّرْتَ زِيَارَةَ اَلْبَيْتِ إِلَى أَنْ تَذْهَبَ أَيَّامُ اَلتَّشْرِيقِ إِلاَّ أَنَّكَ لاَ تَقْرَبُ اَلنِّسَاءَ وَ لاَ اَلطِّيبَ».

Hadith.2859 - Hisham ibn Salim narrated from Abu Basir, who said
I heard Abu Abdullah (as) say: "Whoever is offered the opportunity to perform Hajj, even if it is on a maimed donkey with a cut-off tail, and he refuses, then he is considered capable of performing Hajj."
2859 - وَ رَوَى هِشَامُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَقُولُ : «مَنْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ اَلْحَجُّ وَ لَوْ عَلَى حِمَارٍ أَجْدَعَ مَقْطُوعِ اَلذَّنَبِ فَأَبَى فَهُوَ مُسْتَطِيعٌ لِلْحَجِّ ».

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim and Hammad from Zurarah that Abu ‘Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) said
Regarding the marriage of ‘Umm Kulthum, he said: "It was an honour coerced from us."
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ وَحَمَّادٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) فِي تَزْوِيجِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ فَقَالَ
إِنَّ ذَلِكَ فَرْجٌ غُصِبْنَاهُ.

Hadith.301 - Hisham ibn Salim narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that
He said: "Trimming the nails on Jumu’ah provides protection from leprosy, insanity, vitiligo, and blindness. If you do not need to trim them, then scrape or clean them."
301 - وَ رَوَى هِشَامُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ - «تَقْلِيمُ اَلْأَظْفَارِ يَوْمَ اَلْجُمُعَةِ يُؤْمِنُ مِنَ اَلْجُذَامِ وَ اَلْجُنُونِ وَ اَلْبَرَصِ وَ اَلْعَمَى فَإِنْ لَمْ تَحْتَجْ فَحُكَّهَا حَكّاً.

3. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Kufiy from ‘Ubays ibn Hisham from Husayn ibn Ahmad al-Minqariy from Yunus ibn Zabayan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Wearing the ring (insignia) is of the noble tradition.’”
أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْكُوفِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْسِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مِنَ السُّنَّةِ لُبْسُ الْخَاتَمِ .

Hadith.2681 - Hafs ibn al-Bakhtari and Hisham ibn al-Hakam narrated from Abu Abdullah (as) that he said: "It is disliked for the person in ihram to let their garment cover their nose from below." Imam (as) also said, "
Show openness to the One for whom you have entered the state of ihram."
2681 - أَنَّ حَفْصَ بْنَ اَلْبَخْتَرِيِّ وَ هِشَامَ بْنَ اَلْحَكَمِ رَوَيَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ : «يُكْرَهُ لِلْمُحْرِمِ أَنْ يَجُوزَ ثَوْبُهُ أَنْفَهُ مِنْ أَسْفَلَ» وَ قَالَ «اِضْحَ لِمَنْ أَحْرَمْتَ لَهُ».

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once said to me, ‘You should eat Tharid because I do not find anything more agreeable than Tharid.’”

قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَلَيْكَ بِالثَّرِيدِ فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَجِدْ شَيْئاً أَوْفَقَ مِنْهُ .

Afi ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim who has narrated the following: “About the meaning of the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, ‘. . . one who hides a testimony his heart is sinful,’ (2: 283) abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘
It is after having witnessed a case.’”

11. Ali has narrated from his father from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Hisham ibn Salim from Sulayman ibn Khalid who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘If one drinks one sip of wine his Salat (prayer) is not accepted for forty days.’”

إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الرِّبَا لِكَيْلا يَمْتَنِعَ النَّاسُ مِنِ اصْطِنَاعِ الْمَعْرُوفِ.

Hadith.4998 - Hisham ibn Salim narrated from Sulayman ibn Khalid who said
I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about the stoning mentioned in the Quran. Imam (as) replied: "Yes." I asked: "How is it mentioned?" Imam (as) said: "The old man and the old woman - stone them absolutely, for they have fulfilled their desire."
4998 - وَ رَوَى هِشَامُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فِي اَلْقُرْآنِ رَجْمٌ قَالَ "نَعَمْ" قُلْتُ كَيْفَ قَالَ " اَلشَّيْخُ وَ اَلشَّيْخَةُ فَارْجُمُوهُمَا اَلْبَتَّةَ فَإِنَّهُمَا قَضَيَا اَلشَّهْوَةَ ".
