Muhammad ibn Zeyad al-Sajjad narrated that Imam Sadiq (a.s) asked him whom he knew in Kufa. He replied
“Bashir al- Nabal and Shajrah.” The Imam (a.s) asked him how they treat other Muslims and continued: “The best Muslim is one who helps other Muslims and causes them to benefit.” He then asked him how much money he had. Muhammad showed the money and said: “Two hundred Durhams.” Then Imam Sadiq (a.s) added three Durhams and two Dinars to that money.
عن محمد بن زياد السجاد قال
قال لي أبو عبد الله (عليه السلام): من تعرف من أهل الكوفة؟ قلت: بشير النبال وشجرة، فقال: كيف صنعهما إلى المؤمن؟ فإن خير المسلمين من أعانهم ونفع، ثم قال: أي شئ معك من النفقة؟ قلت: مائتا درهم، فقال: أرنيها، فأريته فزادنيها ثلاثين درهما ودينارين.
