قرة بن أبي قرة: الغفاري: قال ابن شهرآشوب في المناقب: الجزء 4، باب إمامة أبي عبد الله الحسين عليه السلام، في (فصل في مقتله): " شهد وقعة الطف مع الحسين عليه السلام، برز ويرتجز: قد علمت حقا بنو غفار * وخندف بعد بني نزار بأنني الليث لدى الغبار * لأضربن معشر الفجار ضربا وجيعا عن بني الأخيار فقتل ثمانية وستين رجلا ".
