عياض بن حماد: المجاشعي: أتى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله بعد ظهوره صلى الله عليه وآله بهدية، فأبى أن يقبلها، وقال: لو أسلمت لقبلت هديتك، إن الله تعالى أبى لي زبد المشركين، ثم إن عياضا بعد ذلك أسلم وحسن إسلامه، فأهدى إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله هدية، فقبلها منه. رواها محمد بن يعقوب، عن عدة من أصحابنا، عن سهل بن زياد، وأحمد ابن محمد جميعا، عن ابن محبوب، عن سيف بن عميرة، عن أبي بكر الحضرمي، عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام. الكافي: الجزء 5، باب الهدية، من كتاب المعيشة 50، الحديث 3.
