عبد الرحمان بن شداد: الأرحبي: كان هو وأخوه عبد الله بن شداد رسولين من قبل أهل الكوفة إلى الحسين بن علي (عليهما السلام)، ثم أرسلهما الحسين (عليه السلام) مع ابن عمه مسلم بن عقيل إلى الكوفة. ذكره المفيد في الارشاد، في باب ذكر الامام بعد الحسن بن علي (عليهما السلام) (فصل في مختصر الأخبار التي... وذكر جملة من أمره...).
