2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from ’Abd Allah ibn Muskan from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘There is no Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace) to end Salah (prayer) for a deceased.’”
2ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) لَيْسَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ تَسْلِيمٌ.

13. Ahmad ibn Muhammad from has narrated from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘I dislike two kinds of transactions: To say, “Drop the merchandise and receive payment”, and buying something without seeing it.’”
13- أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
نُبِّئْتُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ بَيْعَيْنِ اطْرَحْ وَخُذْ عَلَى غَيْرِ تَقْلِيبٍ وَشِرَاءَ مَا لَمْ يُرَ.

1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “The excellence of congregational prayers is twenty three times that of prayer offered alone and this one congregational prayer is equal to twenty five prayers.”
حَدَّثَنِی أَبِی ره بِإِسْنَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنَّ الصَّلَاهَ فِی الْجَمَاعَهِ تَفْضُلُ عَلَی صَلَاهِ الْفَرْدِ ثلاث [بِثَلَاثٍ] وَ عِشْرِینَ دَرَجَهً تَکُونُ خَمْساً وَ عِشْرِینَ صَلَاهً.

hadith 560
Hadith.5530 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Abdullah ibn Sinan from Abu Abdullah (as), regarding a man who dies while owing a debt, and a guarantor assumes responsibility for it on behalf of the creditors. Imam (as) said
"If the creditors agree, then the deceased is cleared of responsibility."
5530 - رَوَى اَلْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : فِي اَلرَّجُلِ يَمُوتُ وَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَيَضْمَنُهُ ضَامِنٌ لِلْغُرَمَاءِ قَالَ
"إِذَا رَضِيَ اَلْغُرَمَاءُ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ ذِمَّةُ اَلْمَيِّتِ".

10. It is narrated from Imam Ridha (a.s.) that
the reward of the Ziyarat of the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) is equal to that of an accepted Umrah.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا ع یَقُولُ زِیَارَهُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَیْنِ ع تَعْدِلُ عُمْرَهً مَبْرُورَهً مَقْبُولَهً.

Hadith.4641 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Abdullah ibn Sinan who said
I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a man who said to his mother, "Any woman I marry is as forbidden to me as you are." Imam (as) replied: "This means nothing."
4641 - وَ رَوَى اَلْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ لِأُمِّهِ كُلُّ اِمْرَأَةٍ أَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِيَ عَلَيَّ مِثْلُكِ حَرَامٌ قَالَ "لَيْسَ هَذَا بِشَيْءٍ".

Hadith.4956 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Abdullah ibn Sinan, from Abu Hamzah, who said
I asked Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), "What is the least form of (nasb) hostility (towards the Ahlulbayt (as))?" Imam (as) replied: "It is when a man innovates something, and then loves because of it and hates because of it."
4956 - وَ رَوَى اَلْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ مَا أَدْنَى اَلنَّصْبِ قَالَ "أَنْ يَبْتَدِعَ اَلرَّجُلُ شَيْئاً فَيُحِبَّ عَلَيْهِ وَ يُبْغِضَ عَلَيْهِ".

20. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ya’qub ibn from Ziyad ibn Marwan al-Qandiy from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Eating seven dates of al-‘Ajwah at bed time kill the worms in one’s belly.”’
عَنْهُ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ الْقَنْدِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مَنْ أَكَلَ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتٍ عَجْوَةٍ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ قَتَلْنَ الدِّيدَانَ مِنْ بَطْنِهِ .

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ib Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from abu Hamza from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following
“A town in which seven believers live remains safe from torment.”

لا يُصِيبُ قَرْيَةً عَذَابٌ وَفِيهَا سَبْعَةٌ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.

7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Husayn al-Ahmasi and ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Excellent moral behavior melts down sins just as the sun melts down hoarfrost.’”
7ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الأحْمَسِيِّ وَعَبْدِ الله بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الْخُلُقَ الْحَسَنَ يَمِيثُ الْخَطِيئَةَ كَمَا تَمِيثُ الشَّمْسُ الْجَلِيدَ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Sinan from ‘Abd al-Malik al-Qummiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who takes wudu’ and then wipes his face with a handkerchief that covers all of it. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’”
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُمِّيِّ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) الْمُحْرِمُ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثُمَّ يُجَلِّلُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ يُخَمِّرُهُ كُلَّهُ قَالَ لا بَأْسَ.

3. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Ali bin Ibrahim bin Hashim, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Mughaira, from Abdullah bin Sinan, from Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, that he said
The greater pilgrimage is the Day of Adha.

(4) Bin Sinan narrated from Yahya bin al-Muthanna al-Attar, also it was narrated by al-Hakam that Abu Ja’far al-Baqir (as) had said
“How about you if you go and you do not find anyone (to resort to) and you come back and you do not find anyone?”
4 - وبه عن ابن سنان، عن يحيى بن المثنى العطار، عن عبد الله بن بكير؛ ورواه الحكم عن أبي جعفر
أنه قال: كيف بكم إذا صعدتم فلم تجدوا أحداً، ورجعتم فلم تجدوا أحداً!

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following

مَنْ عَيَّرَ مُؤْمِناً بِذَنْبٍ لَمْ يَمُتْ حَتَّى يَرْكَبَهُ.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Ziyad ibn abu al-Hallal who has said the following
“I once took dinner with abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and he said, ‘Dinner after ‘ Isha ’ al- Akhirah (time of late evening Salat (prayer)) is like the dinner of the prophets, ‘Alayhim al-Salam.”’

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Husayn al-Qalanisiy who has said the following
“Once I asked abu al-Hassan, al-Madiy (a.s.), in writing and asked about al-Fuqa ’ (beer). He (the Imam) wrote to me saying, ‘Do not go close to it; it is wine.’”

16. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from ibn Sinan from Hafs ibn Qurt from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
“Whoever’ s entanglement with the world is greater his sorrow to leave this world becomes more intense.”
16ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ قُرْطٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ كَثُرَ اشْتِبَاكُهُ بِالدُّنْيَا كَانَ أَشَدَّ لِحَسْرَتِهِ عِنْدَ فِرَاقِهَا.
