5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A man who looks down on what he has for the guest is ruined.’”

يُهْلِكُ الْمَرْءَ الْمُسْلِمَ أَنْ يَسْتَقِلَّ مَا عِنْدَهُ لِلضَّيْفِ .

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Talhah ibn Zayd who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A neighbor (in matters of immunity) is like a soul which is not harmed or has not committed sins.’”
1- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الْجَارَ كَالنَّفْسِ غَيْرُ مُضَارٍّ وَلا آثِمٍ.

13. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from al-‘Abbas ibn Ma’ruf from Safwan ibn Yahya from Rib‘iy from Fudayl from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘You must find a clean breastfeeding woman because milk may spread (its bad effects).”’

عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْوُضَّاءِ مِنَ الظُّؤْرَةِ فَإِنَّ اللَّبَنَ يُعْدِي .

7. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu’ammar ibn Khallad who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about what people narrate as regards eating clay and that it is undesirable. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is clay and chunks of dirt.’”
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَمَّرِ بْنِ خَلَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ مَا يَرْوِي النَّاسُ فِي أَكْلِ الطِّينِ وَ كَرَاهِيَتِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا ذَاكَ الْمَبْلُولُ وَ ذَاكَ الْمَدَرُ .

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn abu Nasr from Muthanna’ al-Hannat from Hasan al-Sayqal who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A woman for her Ghusl (bath) due to Hayd (menses) must use nine Artal of water.” (One Ritl is about 449.28gms).
2ـ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ مُثَنًّى الْحَنَّاطِ عَنْ حَسَنٍ الصَّيْقَلِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
الطَّامِثُ تَغْتَسِلُ بِتِسْعَةِ أَرْطَالٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from al-Hassan ibn al-Jahm from Dharih who has said the following
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘When juice (grape juice) begins to simmer or boil it becomes unlawful to use it for drink.’”

15. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal who has said the following
“I once wrote to abu al-Hassan and asked about al-Fuqa’. He (the Imam) said in writing, ‘It is wine and the penalty for drinking it is like that for drinking wine.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ قَالَ
كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْفُقَّاعِ قَالَ فَكَتَبَ يَقُولُ هُوَ الْخَمْرُ وَ فِيهِ حَدُّ شَارِبِ الْخَمْرِ .

11. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has narrated the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a brother from a father and grandfather. He (the Imam) said, ‘The legacy between them is distributed in equal shares.’”

قُلْتُ لأبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَخٌ لأبٍ وَجَدٌّ قَالَ الْمَالُ بَيْنَهُمَا سَوَاءً.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, would eat fresh dates with melons.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not harmful for one in the state of Ihram to use bath houses but he must not scrub and massage his body.’”

لا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْمُحْرِمُ الْحَمَّامَ وَلَكِنْ لا يَتَدَلَّكُ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from certain persons of our people from one of them (the Imams) (a.s.) who said
“The Messenger of Allah (sw) assumed the state of Ihram in two pieces of cotton fabric.”
1ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ بَعْضِهِمْ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلاَم) قَالَ
أَحْرَمَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فِي ثَوْبَيْ كُرْسُفٍ.

الإمَامُ يَقْضِي عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الدُّيُونَ مَا خَلا مُهُورَ النِّسَاءِ.

الْبَادِي بِالسَّلامِ أَوْلَى بِالله وَبِرَسُولِهِ.

3. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from who has said the following
“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about a man who performs an enema because of an illness in the month of Ramadan. He (the Imam) said, ‘Performing an enema is not permissible when fasting.’”
3ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّهُ
سَأَلَهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَحْتَقِنُ تَكُونُ بِهِ الْعِلَّةُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ الصَّائِمُ لا يَجُوزُ لَهُ أَنْ يَحْتَقِنَ.

لا اعْتِكَافَ إِلاَّ بِصَوْمٍ.
