8. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Urn ay r from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who makes a sale and the merchandise is not with him for an appointed time but he guarantees the sale. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’”
8- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعاً لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُ إِلَى أَجَلٍ وَضَمِنَ الْبَيْعَ قَالَ لا بَأْسَ.

6. Ali has narrated from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah has placed ten times more patience in women above men, but when grown (excited) she has the force (of desire) like ten men.’”
6- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْعَدَةَ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَصْبِرَ صَبْرَ عَشَرَةِ رِجَالٍ فَإِذَا حَصَلَتْ زَادَهَا قُوَّةَ عَشَرَةِ رِجَالٍ.

“I heard abu Ja’far (a.s.) saying ‘How excellent are good deeds after evil deeds and how disgraceful are evil deeds after good deeds!”’
18ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَا أَحْسَنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ بَعْدَ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَا أَقْبَحَ السَّيِّئَاتِ بَعْدَ الْحَسَنَاتِ.

6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Salamah, Sahib al-Sabiriy from abu al-Sabbah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that Allah, the most Blessed, the most High, has said, ‘Fasting is for Me, and I reward for it.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ صَاحِبِ السَّابِرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِنَّ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ الصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي عَلَيْهِ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If they can see the crescent before Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime), then it is of the last night but if they see it after Zawal, then it is of the coming night.’”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا رَأَوُا الْهِلالَ قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتِهِ الْمَاضِيَةِ وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُ بَعْدَ الزَّوَالِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتِهِ الْمُسْتَقْبَلَةِ.

12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Isma‘il ibn al-Hurr who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If the crescent disappears before al-Shafaq (redness) it is of the first night, but if disappears after al-Shafaq it is of the second night.’”
12ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا غَابَ الْهِلالُ قَبْلَ الشَّفَقِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتِهِ وَإِذَا غَابَ بَعْدَ الشَّفَقِ فَهُوَ لِلَيْلَتَيْنِ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from (his father) from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following
“About the case of a young found inside an animal which is slaughtered, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘You can use it for food if it has grown hairs, otherwise, do not use it for food, that is, if it has not grown any hairs.’”

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about eating lizards. He (the Imam) said, ‘Lizards, rats, apes and pigs are metamorphosed.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الضَّبَّ وَ الْفَأْرَةَ وَ الْقِرَدَةَ وَ الْخَنَازِيرَ مُسُوخٌ .

19. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Rif‘ah and Hafs who has narrated the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who makes a vow and commitment to walk to the House of Allah barefoot. He (the Imam) said, ‘He must walk and if he becomes tired, he can ride.’”
19- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ وَحَفْصٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللهِ حَافِياً قَالَ فَلْيَمْشِ فَإِذَا تَعِبَ فَلْيَرْكَبْ.

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not harmful if one changes his cloths, but when one enters Makkah, one must wear the two pieces of cloths in which one had assumed the state of Ihram . He (the Imam) disliked selling-out of these two pieces of cloths . ‘“
10ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الْمُحْرِمِ يَتَرَدَّى بِالثَّوْبَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَالثَّلاثَةِ إِنْ شَاءَ يَتَّقِي بِهَا الْبَرْدَ وَالْحَرَّ.

20. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘What a very black colored dog hunts is not edible because the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, commanded to kill it.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) الْكَلْبُ الْأَسْوَدُ الْبَهِيمُ لَا يُؤْكَلُ صَيْدُهُ لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from af-Halabiy who has said the following
“This is concerning my question before abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who marries a woman and has touched her. He (the Imam) said, ‘Her mahr (dower) is obligatory and she becomes unlawful for marriage to his father and his son.’”
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً فَلامَسَهَا قَالَ مَهْرُهَا وَاجِبٌ وَهِيَ حَرَامٌ عَلَى أَبِيهِ وَابْنِهِ.

“The messenger of Allah has said, ‘Whoever rises in the morning without any intention of doing injustice to anyone, Allah forgives his sins.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) مَنْ أَصْبَحَ لا يَهُمُّ بِظُلْمِ أَحَدٍ غَفَرَ الله مَا اجْتَرَمَ.

مَنْ ظَلَمَ مَظْلِمَةً أُخِذَ بِهَا فِي نَفْسِهِ أَوْ فِي مَالِهِ أَوْ فِي وُلْدِهِ.

“See your heart. If it dislikes your friend then notice that one of you have done something newly wrong.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ جَرَّاحٍ الْمَدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
انْظُرْ قَلْبَكَ فَإِنْ أَنْكَرَ صَاحِبَكَ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمَا قَدْ أَحْدَثَ.

6 - Ali ibn Ibrahim reported from his father, from an-Nawfali, from as-Sakuni, from Abu Abdullah (as), who narrated: The Messenger of Allah (sw) said, "
The believer eats according to the desires of his family, while the hypocrite eats according to his own desires."
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) الْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْكُلُ بِشَهْوَةِ أَهْلِهِ وَالْمُنَافِقُ يَأْكُلُ أَهْلُهُ بِشَهْوَتِهِ.

“Abu Ja’far (a.s.) has said, ‘By Allah, if a man insists before Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, on praying and pleading for help. He will accept his prayers.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الأحْمَسِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
لا وَالله لا يُلِحُّ عَبْدٌ عَلَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلا اسْتَجَابَ الله لَهُ.

“If weeping does not come through, make a weeping-like face. If of the size of the head of a fly tears come out that is your sheer good luck indeed.”
11ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبَجَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنْ لَمْ يَجِئْكَ الْبُكَاءُ فَتَبَاكَ فَإِنْ خَرَجَ مِنْكَ مِثْلُ رَأْسِ الذُّبَابِ فَبَخْ بَخْ.

“Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, ‘Poverty is more beautifying for the believers than the best decorated harness with ornament is for the head of a horse.’”
22ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) الْفَقْرُ أَزْيَنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ مِنَ الْعِذَارِ عَلَى خَدِّ الْفَرَسِ.

25. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following
‘‘The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘If a man is speaking about something and someone sneezes, this is evidence of the truth.’”
25ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) إِذَا كَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَتَحَدَّثُ بِحَدِيثٍ فَعَطَسَ عَاطِسٌ فَهُوَ شَاهِدُ حَقٍّ.
