4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When a boy is able to fast for three days continuously it is obligatory on him to fast in the month of Ramadan.’”
4ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
إِذَا أَطَاقَ الْغُلامُ صِيَامَ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مُتَتَابِعَةٍ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ عَلَيْهِ صِيَامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of one who becomes a Muslim in the middle of the month of Ramadan, if he owes any fast. He (the Imam) said, ‘
There is no fast upon him except that (day) in which he has become a Muslim.”’
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَسْلَمَ فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ صِيَامِهِ قَالَ
لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ إِلاَّ مَا أَسْلَمَ فِيهِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who when the month of Ramadan arrives is at home and does not want to travel; then it occurs to him, when it is the month of Ramadan, to travel. He (the Imam) remained quiet and I asked several times then he (the Imam) said, ‘Staying home is better unless he has a certain need for which it is necessary for him to travel or is afraid for his assets.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَدْخُلُ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ مُقِيمٌ لا يُرِيدُ بَرَاحاً ثُمَّ يَبْدُو لَهُ بَعْدَ مَا يَدْخُلُ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ أَنْ يُسَافِرَ فَسَكَتَ فَسَأَلْتُهُ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ فَقَالَ يُقِيمُ أَفْضَلُ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ حَاجَةٌ لا بُدَّ مِنَ الْخُرُوجِ فِيهَا أَوْ يَتَخَوَّفَ عَلَى مَالِهِ.

hadith 501
6. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, named a people ‘disobedient’ when they fasted when he stopped fasting and reduced his Salat (prayer).’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘They are disobedient till this day and will remain so till the Day of Judgment. I know their children and the children of their children up to this, our day.’”
6ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَمَّى رَسُولُ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) قَوْماً صَامُوا حِينَ أَفْطَرَ وَقَصَّرَ عُصَاةً وَقَالَ هُمُ الْعُصَاةُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَإِنَّا لَنَعْرِفُ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَأَبْنَاءَ أَبْنَائِهِمْ إِلَى يَوْمِنَا هَذَا.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who fasts on journey. He (the Imam) said, ‘If he is informed that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, prohibited fasting on a journey, he is required to complete its Qada’ (compensatory fast) but if such information has not reached him, he is not obligated for anything/”
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
قُلْتُ لَهُ رَجُلٌ صَامَ فِي السَّفَرِ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله (صلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) نَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَعَلَيْهِ الْقَضَاءُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بَلَغَهُ فَلا شَيْ‏ءَ عَلَيْهِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from certain persons of our people who has said the following
“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘One must not stop fasting in the month of Ramadan except in the way of truth.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ قَالَ
لا يُفْطِرُ الرَّجُلُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ إِلاَّ فِي سَبِيلِ حَقٍّ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who comes out of his house to travel and he is fasting. He (the Imam) said, ‘
If he has come out before midday he is required to stop fasting and complete its Qada’ (compensatory fast) but if he has come out after Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime), he is required to complete his fast (of that day).”’
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ يُرِيدُ السَّفَرَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ قَالَ
فَقَالَ إِنْ خَرَجَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَنْتَصِفَ النَّهَارُ فَلْيُفْطِرْ وَلْيَقْضِ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ وَإِنْ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ الزَّوَالِ فَلْيُتِمَّ يَوْمَهُ.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Rifa’ah ibn Musa who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who comes home from a journey in the month of Ramadan until he can see that he is about to arrive home at noon or when the day is high. He (the Imam) said, ‘If it is dawn and he has not yet arrived in his family, it then is up to him to fast or not to fast.’”
5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ مُوسَى قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقْدَمُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ حَتَّى يَرَى أَنَّهُ سَيَدْخُلُ أَهْلَهُ ضَحْوَةً أَوِ ارْتِفَاعَ النَّهَارِ فَقَالَ إِذَا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ وَهُوَ خَارِجٌ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ أَهْلَهُ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ صَامَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَفْطَرَ.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who travels in the month of Ramadan, if he is required to fast or stop fasting. He (the Imam) said, ‘
If he goes out before Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime), he stops fasting; and if he goes out after Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime), then he fasts.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘This comes from the words of Ali (a.s.), that say, “I fast and stop fasting until it is Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime), thereafter it is definitely obligatory on me, meaning thereby fasting.’””
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسَافِرُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ يَصُومُ أَوْ يُفْطِرُ قَالَ
إِنْ خَرَجَ قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ فَلْيُفْطِرْ وَإِنْ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ الزَّوَالِ فَلْيَصُمْ وَقَالَ يُعْرَفُ ذَلِكَ بِقَوْلِ عَلِيٍّ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) أَصُومُ وَأُفْطِرُ حَتَّى إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ عُزِمَ عَلَيَّ يَعْنِي الصِّيَامَ.

hadith 535
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Hassan ibn Rashid who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), if a woman experiencing Hayd (menses) is required to complete Qada’ (compensatory fast) of the fast. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, she is required to complete its Qada’ (compensatory fast).’ I then asked if she is required to perform Qada’ (compensatory salat) of Salat (prayer)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, she is not required to perform Qada’ (compensatory salat) for Salat (prayer).’ I then asked, ‘On what basis is it?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘The first one who analogized was Iblis (Satan).”’
1ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لأَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) الْحَائِضُ تَقْضِي الصَّوْمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ تَقْضِي الصَّلاةَ قَالَ لا قُلْتُ مِنْ أَيْنَ جَاءَ هَذَا قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ قَاسَ إِبْلِيسُ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a woman who gets up in the morning fasting but when the day rises or in the evening experiences Hayd (menses), if she can stop fasting. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, even if it is al-Maghrib (sunset), she can stop fasting.’ I then asked him (the Imam) about the case of a woman who becomes clean of Hayd (menses) in the morning of the month of Ramadan and she takes Ghusl (bath); but does not eat what should she do?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘She stops fasting that day; bleeding has invalidated her fast.’”
2ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ أَصْبَحَتْ صَائِمَةً فَلَمَّا ارْتَفَعَ النَّهَارُ أَوْ كَانَ الْعَشِيُّ حَاضَتْ أَ تُفْطِرُ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ وَقْتُ الْمَغْرِبِ فَلْتُفْطِرْ قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ رَأَتِ الطُّهْرَ فِي أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَتَغْتَسِلُ وَلَمْ تَطْعَمْ فَمَا تَصْنَعُ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ قَالَ تُفْطِرُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ فَإِنَّمَا فِطْرُهَا مِنَ الدَّمِ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about slaughtering with (sharp) piece of wood, reeds and stone. He (the Imam) said that Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.), has said, ‘Without iron slaughtering is not proper.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الذَّبِيحَةِ بِالْعُودِ وَ الْحَجَرِ وَ الْقَصَبَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ( عليه السلام ) لَا يَصْلُحُ الذَّبْحُ إِلَّا بِالْحَدِيدَةِ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), if an animal can be slaughtered with a piece of sharp wood or stone. He (the Imam) said, ‘Without iron it is not a proper slaughtering.”’
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الذَّبِيحَةِ بِاللِّيطَةِ وَ بِالْمَرْوَةِ فَقَالَ لَا ذَكَاةَ إِلَّا بِحَدِيدَةٍ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following
“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’For al-Nahr the cut must be made in the upper part of the chest and in slaughtering the throat must be cut.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) النَّحْرُ فِي اللَّبَّةِ وَ الذَّبْحُ فِي الْحَلْقِ .

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from abu Hashim al-Ja’fariy from his father from Humran ibn ’ A‘yan who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When you slaughter an animal, do not tie down all the legs, do not push the knife under the throat and veins then turn it to cut upward. You must allow the bird to remain loose especially, but if it falls in a well or a hole, then do not use it for food or feed; you do not know if the fall has killed it or slaughtering. If it is a sheep, then hold it by its fur or wool and do not hold its legs. In the case of cows tie down the front legs and leave the tail. In the case of camels tie down its hoofs to its armpit and leave its legs. If a bird turns loose when you want to slaughter it and escapes and flies away, you can shoot it down with your arrow, if it falls down it then is like hunting.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الذَّبْحِ فَقَالَ إِذَا ذَبَحْتَ فَأَرْسِلْ وَ لَا تَكْتِفْ وَ لَا تَقْلِبِ السِّكِّينَ لِتُدْخِلَهَا مِنْ تَحْتِ الْحُلْقُومِ وَ تَقْطَعَهُ إِلَى فَوْقُ وَ الْإِرْسَالُ لِلطَّيْرِ خَاصَّةً فَإِنْ تَرَدَّى فِي جُبٍّ أَوْ وَهْدَةٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ وَ لَا تُطْعِمْهُ فَإِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي التَّرَدِّي قَتَلَهُ أَوِ الذَّبْحُوَ إِنْ كَانَ شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ فَأَمْسِكْ صُوفَهُ أَوْ شَعْرَهُ وَ لَا تُمْسِكَنَّ يَداً وَ لَا رِجْلًا وَ أَمَّا الْبَقَرُ فَاعْقِلْهَا وَ أَطْلِقِ الذَّنَبَ وَ أَمَّا الْبَعِيرُ فَشُدَّ أَخْفَافَهُ إِلَى آبَاطِهِ وَ أَطْلِقْ رِجْلَيْهِ وَ إِنْ أَفْلَتَكَ شَيْ‏ءٌ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ وَ أَنْتَ تُرِيدُ ذَبْحَهُ أَوْ نَدَّ عَلَيْكَ فَارْمِهِ بِسَهْمِكَ فَإِذَا هُوَ سَقَطَ فَذَكِّهِ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الصَّيْدِ .

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a Muslim man who slaughters a sheep and mentions the name of Allah but because of sharpness of the knife he cuts off the head. He (the Imam) said, ‘If blood has come out you can use it for food.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ذَبَحَ شَاةً وَ سَمَّى فَسَبَقَهُ السِّكِّينُ بِحِدَّتِهَا فَأَبَانَ الرَّأْسَ فَقَالَ إِنْ خَرَجَ الدَّمُ فَكُلْ .

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a man who slaughters an animal but by mistake the knife cuts off its head before it dies. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is a fast slaughtering and it is not unlawful to use it for food.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ ذَبَحَ فَسَبَقَهُ السِّكِّينُ فَقَطَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ هُوَ ذَكَاةٌ وَحِيَّةٌ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ وَ بِأَكْلِهِ .

“It is the case of a man who hits a camel or sheep with his sword, with a mention of the name of Allah, in a part which is not for slaughtering. Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The flesh of an animal slaughtered from a part which is not for slaughtering is not useable for food if it is done intentionally, and it is not a case of emergency. However, if it is an emergency and it becomes difficult to slaughter him then it is not unlawful.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
فِي رَجُلٍ ضَرَبَ بِسَيْفِهِ جَزُوراً أَوْ شَاةً فِي غَيْرِ مَذْبَحِهَا وَ قَدْ سَمَّى حِينَ ضَرَبَ فَقَالَ لَا يَصْلُحُ أَكْلُ ذَبِيحَةٍ لَا تُذْبَحُ مِنْ مَذْبَحِهَا يَعْنِي إِذَا تَعَمَّدَ لِذَلِكَ وَ لَمْ تَكُنْ حَالُهُ حَالَ اضْطِرَارٍ فَأَمَّا إِذَا اضْطُرَّ إِلَيْهَا وَ اسْتَصْعَبَتْ عَلَيْهِ مَا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ .

hadith 831
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a man who slaughters an animal but does not know about making it to face al-Qiblah (al-Ka‘bah). He (the Imam) said, ‘You can use it for food.’ I then said, ‘He has not made it to face al-Qiblah (al-Ka‘bah).’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Do not use it for food and so also is the case with that on which the name of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, is not mentioned.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘When you want to slaughter make it (the animal) to face al-Qiblah (al-Ka‘bah).’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ ذَبَحَ ذَبِيحَةً فَجَهِلَ أَنْ يُوَجِّهَهَا إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ قَالَ كُلْ مِنْهَا فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يُوَجِّهْهَا قَالَ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا وَ لَا تَأْكُلْ مِنْ ذَبِيحَةٍ مَا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلَيْهَا وَ قَالَ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَذْبَحَ فَاسْتَقْبِلْ بِذَبِيحَتِكَ الْقِبْلَةَ .

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following
“Once abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), was asked about an animal which is slaughtered facing a direction other than al-Qiblah (al-Ka‘bah). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful if it is not intentional.’ He (the Imam) was asked about a man who forgets to mention the name of Allah; if it can be used for food. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, it can be used for food if he is not accused of (unreliability), who before was able to slaughter properly, does not cutoff the spinal cord and does not break the neck until the animal slaughtered becomes cold.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سُئِلَ عَنِ الذَّبِيحَةِ تُذْبَحُ لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ إِذَا لَمْ يَتَعَمَّدْوَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَذْبَحُ فَيَنْسَى أَنْ يُسَمِّيَ أَ تُؤْكَلُ ذَبِيحَتُهُ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا كَانَ لَا يُتَّهَمُ وَ كَانَ يُحْسِنُ الذَّبْحَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَ لَا يَنْخَعُ وَ لَا يَكْسِرُ الرَّقَبَةَ حَتَّى تَبْرُدَ الذَّبِيحَةُ .
