14. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Fadl al-Nawfaliy from his father from his uncle all has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Whoever continues clipping his fingernails every Thursday will not experience eye ache.’”
عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ عَمِّهِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
مَنْ أَدْمَنَ أَخْذَ أَظْفَارِهِ كُلَّ خَمِيسٍ لَمْ تَرْمَدْ عَيْنُهُ .

9. He said: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Salim reported to me from Abul Abbas Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Saeed, who reported from Ahmad ibn Yusuf, who reported from Muhammad ibn Yazid who reported from Ahmad ibn Rizq, from Abu Ziyad al-Fuqaymi, from Abu Abdillah, Ja’far ibn Muhammad (as), from his father (as), from ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn (as) who reported that
The Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: "When you see a person not engaging in a purposeless chatter, then that is the sign of his excellent (understanding of) Islam."
9 - قال: أخبرني أبو بكر محمد بن عمر بن سالم قال: حدثنا أبو العباس أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد قال: حدثنا أحمد بن يوسف قال: حدثنا محمد بن يزيد قال: حدثنا أحمد بن رزق، عن أبي زياد الفقيمي، عن أبي عبد الله جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن علي بن الحسين عليهم السلام قال
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: من حسن إسلام المرء تركه الكلام فيما لا يعنيه .

hadith 383
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from Sandal from Katheer b. Kathira from Farwa b. al-Ajuri from Abi Ja’far Muhammad b. Ali (a.s.) who said
Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.), “One who recites Surah Hud every Friday, the Almighty Lord would gather him along with the group of prophets on the Day of Judgment and he would be considered sinless on that day.”
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ کَثِیرِ بْنِ کَاثِرَهَ عَنْ فَرْوَهَ بْنِ الْآجُرِّیِّ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ ع قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ هُودٍ فِی کُلِّ جُمُعَهٍ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ فِی زُمْرَهِ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ لَمْ یُعْرَفْ لَهُ خَطِیئَهٌ عَمِلَهَا یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ.

hadith 1440
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy, from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The Messenger of Allah has said, “If one performs the five Salah (prayer) in congregation you should think good about him.’””
3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِيهِ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ الله (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مَنْ صَلَّى الْخَمْسَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ فَظُنُّوا بِهِ خَيْراً.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has narrated from his father (a.s.), who has said, that a boy cannot impregnate until his breast becomes round and the smell of his armpit rises strong.’”
عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
الْغُلَامُ لَا يُلْقِحُ حَتَّى يَتَفَلَّكَ ثَدْيَاهُ وَ تَسْطَعَ رِيحُ إِبْطَيْهِ .

hadith 963
34. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Fadalah from Musa ibn Bakr from Zurarah who has said the following
“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Life and death are two creatures of the creatures of Allah. When death comes then it enters in man. In whatever things death enters, life goes out of that place.’”
34ـ عَنْهُ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ
الْحَيَاةُ وَالْمَوْتُ خَلْقَانِ مِنْ خَلْقِ الله فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْمَوْتُ فَدَخَلَ فِي الإِنْسَانِ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ فِي شَيْ‏ءٍ إِلاَّ وَقَدْ خَرَجَتْ مِنْهُ الْحَيَاةُ.

1. From the previous chain from ’Amru b. Jubayr al-’Arzami from his father from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
One who recites Surah Luqman every night, Allah appoints for him angels that protect him from Iblees and his army till the morning. If he recites it in the day, they will not leave him and protect him from Iblees and his army till the night falls.
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جُبَیْرٍ الْعَرْزَمِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ لُقْمَانَ فِی کُلِّ لَیْلَهٍ وَکَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ فِی لَیْلَتِهِ مَلَائِکَهً یَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ إِبْلِیسَ وَ جُنُودِهِ حَتَّی یُصْبِحَ فَإِذَا قَرَأَهَا بِالنَّهَارِ لَمْ یَزَالُوا یَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ إِبْلِیسَ وَ جُنُودِهِ حَتَّی یُمْسِیَ.

hadith 407
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from ’Amru b. Jubayr al-’Arzami from his father from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
“One who recites Surah Saad every Friday eve would get goodness in this world and hereafter so much, which is not received by anyone except the prophets, messengers and nearest angels. Allah would make him and his family enter Paradise even if they are not among the ones whose intercession can be done by him.”
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ جُبَیْرٍ الْعَرْزَمِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ ص فِی لَیْلَهِ الْجُمُعَهِ أُعْطِیَ مِنْ خَیْرِ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْآخِرَهِ مَا لَمْ یُعْطَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِلَّا نَبِیٌّ مُرْسَلٌ أَوْ مَلَکٌ مُقَرَّبٌ وَ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّهَ وَ کُلَّ مَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ حَتَّی خَادِمَهُ الَّذِی یَخْدُمُهُ وَ إِنْ لَمْ یَکُنْ فِی حَدِّ عِیَالِهِ وَ لَا فِی حَدِّ مَنْ یَشْفَعُ فِیهِ.

hadith 409
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan b. Jawrawayh b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi al-Sabah from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
“One who recites Ha Mim Momin every night, Allah forgives him all his past and future sins and makes compulsory for him the word of piety (that is he would be inclined to it) and makes the hereafter for him better than the world.”
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ جُوَیْرِیَهَ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ حم الْمُؤْمِنَ فِی کُلِّ لَیْلَهٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ وَ أَلْزَمَهُ کَلِمَهَ التَّقْوی وَ جَعَلَ الْآخِرَهَ خَیْراً لَهُ مِنَ الدُّنْیَا.

hadith 432
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from his father from Abi Basir from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
One who recites Surah Saff and is regular in reciting it in the obligatory prayers, Allah includes him in the row of His angels, prophets and messengers, Insha Allah.
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَهَ الصَّفِّ وَ أَدْمَنَ قِرَاءَتَهَا فِی فَرَائِضِهِ وَ نَوَافِلِهِ صَفَّهُ اللَّهُ مَعَ مَلَائِکَتِهِ وَ أَنْبِیَائِهِ الْمُرْسَلِینَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

hadith 445
1. From the previous chain from al-Hassan from al-Hussain b. Abi al-’Ala from Abi Basir from Abi Ja’far (a.s.) who said
Whoever recites Surah Qiyamat regularly and acts upon it, Allah would raise him from the grave with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) in the best form. He would be given glad-tiding and he would pass through Sirat and Mizan smiling.
بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ أَبِی الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِی بَصِیرٍ عَنْ أَبِی جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ
مَنْ أَدْمَنَ قِرَاءَهَ لا أُقْسِمُ وَ کَانَ یَعْمَلُ بِهَا بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص مِنْ قَبْرِهِ فِی أَحْسَنِ صُورَهٍ وَ یُبَشِّرُهُ وَ یَضْحَکُ فِی وَجْهِهِ حَتَّی یَجُوزَ عَلَی الصِّرَاطِ وَ الْمِیزَانِ.

hadith 63
4. Through the same chain of narrator it is narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from abu ‘Ubayda al-Hadhdha’ from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following.
“Whoever teaches a subject of guidance he will receive a reward equal to the rewards of those who would practice such guidance without any reduction in the rewards of the later ones. Whoever would introduce a subject of misguidance he will suffer equal to the suffering due for each time it is practiced without any reduction in the suffering of whoever would practice such misguidance.”
4ـ وَبِهَذَا الاسْنَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
مَنْ عَلَّمَ بَابَ هُدًى فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهِ وَلا يُنْقَصُ أُولَئِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئاً وَمَنْ عَلَّمَ بَابَ ضَلالٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُ أَوْزَارِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهِ وَلا يُنْقَصُ أُولَئِكَ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْئاً.

hadith 1664
9. From him (Ahmad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Khalid) that he narrated from Al-Jamurani from Al-Hasan Ibn Ali Ibn Abi Hamzah, from Sandal, from Abu al-Sabbah al-Kinani, that Abu Ja'far (al-Baqir) (as) said
"Indeed, Allah (azwj) loves from His believing servants every servant who is persistent in supplication. Therefore, you should engage in supplication during the pre-dawn hours until sunrise, for it is a time when the gates of heaven are opened, provisions are distributed, and great needs are fulfilled."
9ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ الْجَامُورَانِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ صَنْدَلٍ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّبَّاحِ الْكِنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُحِبُّ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كُلَّ عَبْدٍ دَعَّاءٍ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالدُّعَاءِ فِي السَّحَرِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَإِنَّهَا سَاعَةٌ تُفَتَّحُ فِيهَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَتُقَسَّمُ فِيهَا الأرْزَاقُ وَتُقْضَى فِيهَا الْحَوَائِجُ الْعِظَامُ.

31-169 According to the same documentation, it is narrated that Ja’far ibn Muhammad (a.s.) quoted on the authority of his father (a.s.) that
Ali ibn Al-Husayn was questioned about why the Prophet (S) was an orphan deprived of both father and mother. He (a.s.) said, “That was so that he does not have to obey any creatures.”
169 - وَبِهذَا الإِسناد، عَن جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّد عَلَيْهِالسَّلامُ، عَن أَبِيهِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ قالَ
سُئِلَ عَلِىِّ بْنِ الحُسَيْن‏عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلاَمُ لَم اُوتِمَ النَّبِي‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ مِن أَبَوَيهِ؟ قالَ: لِئَلاَّ يَجِبَ عَلَيْهِ حَقٌّ لَِمخلُوقٍ.

Hadith.1526 - Zurarah and Muhammad ibn Muslim reported from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that they asked him, "What do you say about these winds and darkness that occur? Should one pray because of them?" Imam (as) said
"For every fear-inducing phenomenon from the sky, be it darkness, wind, or dread, pray the prayer of the eclipse (Salat al-Kusuf) until it subsides."
1526 - وَ رَوَى زُرَارَةُ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالاَ
قُلْنَا لَهُ أَ رَأَيْتَ هَذِهِ اَلرِّيَاحَ وَ اَلظُّلَمَ اَلَّتِي تَكُونُ هَلْ يُصَلَّى بِهَا قَالَ «كُلُّ أَخَاوِيفِ اَلسَّمَاءِ مِنْ ظُلْمَةٍ أَوْ رِيحٍ أَوْ فَزَعٍ فَصَلِّ لَهَا صَلاَةَ اَلْكُسُوفِ حَتَّى تَسْكُنَ.

hadith 1558
Hadith.1562 - Abdul Wahid ibn al-Mukhtar al-Ansari narrated from Abu Ja'far (as), who said
"I asked him about the Duha prayer” Imam (as) said: ‘The first people to perform it were your people, for they were among the heedless, so they performed it. The Messenger of Allah (sw) did not perform it.' He also said: 'Imam Ali (as) passed by a man who was performing it, and Imam Ali (as) said: ‘What is this prayer?’ The man replied: ‘Should I leave it, O’ Commander of the Faithful?’ He (Imam Ali (as)) said: ‘Would I forbid a servant when he prays?’".
1562 - وَ رَوَى عَبْدُ اَلْوَاحِدِ بْنُ اَلْمُخْتَارِ اَلْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلاَةِ اَلضُّحَى فَقَالَ «أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَلاَّهَا قَوْمُكَ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مِنَ اَلْغَافِلِينَ فَيُصَلُّونَهَا وَ لَمْ يُصَلِّهَا رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ » وَقَالَ «إِنَّ عَلِيّاً عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَ هُوَ يُصَلِّيهَا فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ «مَا هَذِهِ اَلصَّلاَةُ» فَقَالَ أَدَعُهَا يَا أَمِيرَ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَقَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ «أَكُونُ أَنْهَى «عَبْداً إِذٰا صَلّٰى.

Hadith.1950 - Al-'Ala narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Abu Ja'far (as), who said
"I heard him say: 'A pregnant woman in her late term and a nursing woman with little milk are not at fault if they break their fast during the Month of Ramadan because they are unable to fast. They must each give a mudd (a specific measure) of food as charity for every day they break their fast, and they must make up each day they missed after Month of Ramadan.'"
1950 - وَ رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: «اَلْحَامِلُ اَلْمُقْرِبُ وَ اَلْمُرْضِعُ اَلْقَلِيلَةُ اَللَّبَنِ لاَ حَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَنْ تُفْطِرَا فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ لِأَنَّهُمَا لاَ تُطِيقَانِ اَلصَّوْمَ وَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَنْ تَتَصَدَّقَ كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ تُفْطِرُ فِيهِ بِمُدٍّ مِنْ طَعَامٍ وَ عَلَيْهِمَا قَضَاءُ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ أَفْطَرَا فِيهِ ثُمَّ تَقْضِيَانِهِ بَعْدُ.

Hadith.847 – Zurarah and Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated from Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) that
He said: "For one who is confused (about the direction of the Qiblah), it suffices for him to pray in whichever direction he faces if he does not know where the Qiblah is."
847 - وَ رَوَى زُرَارَةُ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «يُجْزِي اَلْمُتَحَيِّرَ أَبَداً أَيْنَمَا تَوَجَّهَ إِذَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَيْنَ وَجْهُ اَلْقِبْلَةِ.

Hadith.929 - Ismail ibn Muslim narrated from Imam Al-Sadiq, from his father (as), who said
"When any of you performs Sujood (prostration), let them place their palms directly on the ground, so that Allah (swt) may protect them from shackles on the Day of Judgment."
929 - وَ رَوَى إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ اَلصَّادِقِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِذَا سَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُبَاشِرْ بِكَفَّيْهِ اَلْأَرْضَ لَعَلَّ اَللَّهَ يَدْفَعُ عَنْهُ اَلْغُلَّ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ.

Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid (ra) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. `Isa from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Faddal from Marwan b. Muslim. He said: Abu `Abdillah Ja`far b. Muhammad al-Sadiq (as) said: My father narrated to me from his forefathers (as) from the Messenger of Allah (s). He said
Allah said: When a servant obeys Me, I do not assign him to one other than Me. When a servant disobeys Me, I assign him to himself, then I do not care which valley he perishes in.
2 - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الوليد (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الصفار، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن عيسى، عن الحسن بن علي بن فضال، عن مروان بن مسلم، قال: قال أبو عبد الله جعفر بن محمد الصادق (عليه السلام): حدثني أبي، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، عن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه واله)، قال
